Count Your Blessings

This festive season, we encouraged you to reflect on the blessings you've experienced

throughout the year, both personally and professionally.

With this opportunity, we also want to express our gratitude to all who participated in our initiatives. Your involvement and enthusiasm encourages us to continue our efforts and strive for improvement. This year has been marked by plenty of engaging projects and events, which we hope helped build stronger teams and a more positive work environment.

While every response is noteworthy and deserving of celebration, this brochure highlights a few messages that stood out to us.

Thank you and keep an eye on your inbox for future inititives,

I’m really grateful for the learning journey I had this year and the people at work and around me who had the patience to be there no matter what. I feel a lot smarter and a lot wiser than I felt one year ago and most importantly I have more trust in myself. L. M.

Becoming a Yardi employee! I had such a warm welcome, it feels like I'm joining a family.

Rebuilding Relationship with Parents: I am profoundly grateful for having spent more time with my family in 2023, successfully rebuilding my relationship with my parents. After years of distance, I discovered that this reconciliation brought a joy and fulfillment I didn't think possible. The relationship I thought was lost has been revived, bringing loved ones closer and creating precious memories. V. F.

Rediscovering sports as a hobby, particularly through swimming and squash, has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me. A. C.

2023 is the year where I actually got my first real adult job, here with Yardi. I have never thought of me ever joining the corporate world, given my educational background, but it ended up being the best thing that could happen to me. E. H.

I received another gift, the 3rd child, Talitha, which is like a summer (the period she was born in) laughing every time you look at her.

Another reason for gratitude is my girlfriend, who has a wonderful sense of music. Together, we've invested in a turntable, and we enjoy music almost daily. Our shared passion for music adds a special touch to our everyday lives and relationship.

Peace of mind. I have learnt this year that peaceful thoughts are very underestimated and I am grateful to have made peace with certain things such as wanting to change circumstances or people. We all have our struggles and my story should not be more important than someone else's. Life is full of unpredictable things and the change we need to focus on is inside ourselves, not in what is happening around us. I am also grateful to have understood better that all people have difficult days and just because at one given moment they are not kind, it doesn't mean they are always unkind. I am no longer trying to fix people, now I am more focused on trying to listen and help them, if they need me to. V. M.

or not. A. M. Having a great place to come to work everyday, that allows me to give back to others that aren't as fortunate. O. D.

I'm grateful that I can find time to read. It's a blessing that, in this technological era, books still exist and are being published. It helps escape the daily routine and brings so much life when each day looks the same. C. M.

I am very grateful for my "family" at Yardi. I am part of an extraordinary team, that always is there for me to achieve my best, and to learn more. Can't wait for 2024 to see what it has in store for me. D. M.

Although it seems like a cliché, I am grateful for every morning when I open my eyes. Not all of us receive this gift every day. Considering the wars and the cruelty of the world, we really have to give thanks for the fact that we have one more day to live... and maybe one more after that. to be alive, to be healthy, to have a roof over your head and a full refrigerator really is a miracle. Let's choose goodness every day! R. R.

I am also grateful for the challenges, not right in the moment I face them, but afterwards, somehow my perspective over live changes in a good way. M. C. I am blessed to have this job that allows me to be myself and brings me so much happiness and peace of mind. I truly believe that I found the perfect career and I never knew how fulfilling it could be. I'm also grateful for the team I'm part of and for the constant support I've received. A. S.

I'm very grateful for being able to enjoy my hobbies - having a reliable partner for mountain biking, having the time and financial resources to explore new places and always being up to read a new book, watch a new movie, try a new thing. T. I.

Reconnecting with Childhood Friends: There’s something magical about reconnecting with friends from your past. The shared stories, inside jokes, and the comfort of familiarity—it’s like finding a piece of your heart that you didn’t know was missing. R. A.

I am blessed to have a roof over my head and a loving family to come to. M. P.

I got the chance to travel alone with my little brother for the first time. He is 7 years younger than me (he just turned 16). We had our first city break together (without other family members) in Rome, and I am thankful I could offer him this experience. Of course, I'm thankful I got to see all the beautiful monuments and museums, but being there with him made it special. S. B.

Grateful for the adventure I had in 2023 with friends and family: for the car trip to Greece which was fun and challenging - first time on a long car trip as the main driver, first time when I run out of gas on top of the mountain, first time I took my parents to a mountain trip and to a concert (they never did it before :D) A. I.

I'm genuinely grateful for my job, which offers me the unique perk of working night shifts. While it's not everyone's cup of tea, the night schedule has surprisingly become a blessing in disguise for me. It opens up my days, allowing me to spend quality time with friends and do various activities. A. A.

Love! In all its forms and shapes. My partner cooking me my favorite dinner after a busy day. Bonding, laughing and connecting with my work team. This year, I had the ability to see love everywhere around me. That makes me the luckiest person on Earth. L. L.

Probably the most important thing I

have to be grateful for is gratitude itself.

I have found that focusing on what I have and putting happiness in what I have rather than expecting to take happiness out of things made me a better person. There are days in which focusing on the good temps to be difficult, but being grateful for yourself firstly, becoming your best friend helps you deal with whatever life throws at you. And our family members and our friends become happier even if it's just for a moment, when we remind them how important they are for us and how grateful we are for them. V. M.

Seeing my work and name in some of the most important media outlets out there (Yes, The New York Times too.) I am really grateful to have had the chance to achieve this milestone. Kudos to my entire team for all their work and support! A. B.

Thank you for another great year at Yardi!
