Bidding 1.-AII bids ore per lot as numbered in the catalogue. The right is reserved to withdraw any lot prior to sole, to divide a lot, or to group two or more lots.

Payment For Purchases

111.-Floor Bidders. The name and address of the buyer of each lot sha ll be given to the auctioneer immediately following the sole of such lot . Payment of the whole purchase price , or part thereof, sha ll be mode by t he floo r buyer in such ma nner as t he au ct ioneer ma y de termi ne.

IV.-Meil Bidders. A successfu l moil bidder will be notified of lots purchased and must rem it before the lots ere sent. Delivery to a successful moil bidder will be to the address on the b id sheet. A person known to us, or who furnishes satisfactory references, may, at our option, hove purchases forwarded for immediate payment. A minimum charge of 25c will be made for moiling and insurance. Proof , by the auct ioneers, of rece ipt of a send ing at the ad vised address shall constitute delivery.

V.-Title shall remain in H. R. Harmer, Inc. until payment is received.

VI.-The buyer agrees to pay H. R. Harmer, Inc. a serv ice cha rge of I 1h o/c,pe r month which may be imposed on past due balances.

Authenticity VII.-Eo ch lot is sold as genu ine but when in the opin ion of any compe t ent autho rity acc eptable to H. R. Harmer, Inc. , the lot is declared ot herwise , the pur chase pric e will be ref unded in full, provided the lot is received by H. R. Harmer, Inc. within a period of 21 days from the dote of the auction. Where en opinion is not expected within 21 days , receipt by H. R. Harmer, Inc:. of notification within this period that a reasonable extension of time is required, is satisfactory . Lots on which opinions are to be obtained must be submitted to the Expert within 7 days of receipt. No lot will be accepted back under any circumstance s ofter three months from the auction date.

Proof of the ina bility of a "c om pet ent a uthority" to express a definite opin ion is not grounds fo r th e return of a n ite m.

VIII.-Any lot , description of which is incorrect , is returnable (a) within three d11ys of receipt and (b) if received by H. R. Harmer, Inc. within 21 days from the date of the au ct ion. All d isp uted lots must be returned intact, in the condition received, and are at buyer's risk. No a dju stments.

The following lots are not returnable : Lots containing ten or more stamps; lots from purchasers who had the opportunity to examine them before the auction; stamps described with defects or faults or of a quality stand a rd of "very good" or below; stamps, on account of appearance or centering, when they are illustrated; lots offered "as is."
