Be the PRIMEpoint of contact for your Group into the club.
Establish and maintainregular contact with all your members – build the relationship.
Communicateall yourmember questions and needs intothe Groups Coordinator.
Ensure you have a current contact/mailing list for all competitors in your Group.
Share the HRCC Event Calendar with competitors in your Group.
Cross-promote our HRCC events with your HSRCA& VHRR counterparts.
Notify every competitor in your Group when an HRCCevent is coming up and notify them again when entries open. Send reminders every week/fortnight until entries close.
Provide the confirmed listing of entrants from yourGroup 30 days prior to each event and work with the GROUPCoordinator, your fellow Group Leaders and Event Secretary to agree/lock down your preferred race groupings for each event, especially amongst the earlier open wheeler and sport car groups.
Liaise with HRCC Race committee/paddock Marshalland offer assistance toensureyour competitor Group is suitably located in the carports and paddock.
Greet your competitor group upon their arrival at the circuit and ensure they know where to park/unload etc.
Assist first time competitors and ensurethey understand the myriad of administrative requirements of their first race meeting.
Ensurethat competitors in your Group who arecompeting at the track for the first time know where tofind allthe important locations; e.g. scrutineering, waste oil dump,toilets, etc.
Liaise with Event Secretary regarding distribution of timesheets or other documents and advise your competitors that YOU are theirconduit to the Event Secretary.
Liaise with HRCC trophy organiser to present Event trophies.
Promote a sense of camaraderie among your Group at all events.
Consider arranging social events for your Group between Race Meetings – or maybe just encourage attendance at our club social BBQs we willbe having this yearat the VCC, plus the Saturday night BBQs we areholding at the tracks this year.
Contact allcompetitors in your Group after each event and request feedback, bothpositive and negative. Collate this feedback and share as appropriate with HRCC Race committee.
Ensure your Group has an appropriate level of visibility and accessibility on Social Media. Be active and post your Group photos on our FB page.
Focus on every one of your group members bringing 1 new member each to theclub in 2025.

A person who is actively involved in Motorsport, for example but not limited to, a competitor, an entrant or an automobile preparer. Category A – Full members are entitled to notice of general meetings and to attend, vote and debate at general meetings.
Additional Family person who wishes to be a Category A - Full member of the HRCC, resides at the same address as a current financial Category A - Full member and the family elect to received ONE service i.e. Newsletter, Oily Rag and Notices from the HRCC, may join at the reduced fee under Additional Family A - Full Member. A person who has ‘retired from motorsport’, i.e. not actively involved in motorsport as is a Category A Member. Category B Members are entitled to notice of general meetings and to attend, vote and debate at general meetings.
Category C Member (SOCIAL)
A person who wishes to participate in the social activities of the association and is not actively involved in motorsport as is a Category A Member. Category C Members are not entitled to vote or debate at general meetings.
Being a member of the Historic Racing Car Club (Qld) Inc. -
• Enables you to apply for Concessional Registration for any of your Classic Cars.
• Offers you the opportunity to participate in motor racing events either as a competitor or assisting in the running of events. A member discount is available for every event.
• Provides a forum for the exchange of technical information, literature, and spare parts so that historic racing cars can be preserved, restored, maintained, reconstructed and used in the best historic tradition.
• Provides you with the Club’s monthly newsletter which will keep you up to date on coming events, club news and items of interest
• Provides a representation of club members views and concerns to Motorsport Australia, the Historic Commission, Committees and Councils.
