670 acres of current HRCA-owned property identified as proposed Planning Areas.
Remaining approximately 7,000 acres treated as one broad Open Space Area.
7,005 acres designated as Core Conservation Area within HRCA's 7,675 acres.
Multiple large-scale institutional, commercial and recreation uses allowed.
Many higher-intensity uses removed, narrowed, or more specifically located.
Structures up to 50,000 sq. ft. allowed for several uses; some larger facilities possible through Special Review.
Most significant structures generally limited to 20,000 sq. ft., with additional sitearea limits.
Colleges, universities, religious institutions, golf courses, country clubs, large recreation centers and other intensive uses contemplated.
Those uses are removed or not carried forward as broad permitted uses.
Open Space Area allowed a comparatively broad set of uses across the 7,000 acres.
The 7,005 acre Core Conservation Area uses are tied to mapped conservation values, with the strongest restrictions in Critical and High areas.
