GET MOVING THIS WINTER WITH HRCA! Embrace it! The Sports & Fitness Department is gearing up for an exciting season of activities to help keep you moving throughout the snowy months ahead. The Fitness Department has over 100 weekly drop-in group exercise classes sure to work with your busy schedules and meet your fitness level. Get a head start on the holiday season by taking advantage of our November Holiday Personal Training Special. This package includes 12 private personal training sessions for $444 which breaks down to only $37 per session! This package is available for purchase starting Sunday, November 1 through Wednesday, November 25 and expires 90 days from the date of purchase. Visit www.HRCAonline.org/Fitness. Tired of the long commute to your children’s athletic activities? The Sports Department offers numerous recreational and competitive sports leagues for all abilities, holiday basketball camps, instructional soccer programs, fencing, and martial arts programs right here in your backyard. For adults we offer organized basketball, volleyball, racquetball, indoor soccer leagues, and an instructional fencing program. Keep the entire family active during the cold weather months! A leader in Colorado tennis, the Tennis Program welcomes new, experienced, and returning players to the sport of a lifetime. We have everything from Hot Shot classes for your 5-year olds to Senior Leagues for grandma and grandpa. Should you want serious competition, join our junior and adult tournaments and leagues. The program serves over 400 individuals each year of all ages and abilities in a compassionate community-based setting. We have something for all interests from basketball and hip hop dance to aquatics and special events. We depend on over 200 volunteers to make our programs happen each year. The HR Race Series concludes the 2015 season with the Backcountry Wilderness Half Marathon on Saturday, November 7. The 2016 Budget The HRCA Finance Committee, a volunteer group, will be voting to recommend the 2016 HRCA budget to the Board of Directors on Tuesday October 13. The draft budget will be posted for homeowners to review at www.HRCAonline.org/Budget. The 2016 budget will be presented to Delegates at the October 20 meeting, and a final budget will be adopted at the November 17 Board of Directors meeting.

Senior Health and Information Fair In partnership with the Highlands Ranch Metro District, the HRCA will host the 4th annual Senior Health and Information Fair Saturday, November 14, 9:00 a.m. - noon at the Recreation Center at Eastridge. Join us for this great event with local service providers. A variety of free, simple health screenings will be offered.
