Emily Carter

Lines of Legitimacy

In her new exhibition, local artist Emily Carter (ECCarter Art) combines her life-long obsession with colour and her innate love of the natural world. She explores a range of subjects in her abstract paintings - experimenting with bold, colourful gestures in a breathtaking showcase of artworks.

From mermen to ancient traditions of drag on the high seas, join drag king and sculptor Lady Kitt as they respond to LGBTQIA+ histories of Hartlepool in this new artwork and exhibition.

Get ready to shake it off with Taylor Fever. Experience the eras like never before, from Fearless to Midnights, including hits such as We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, Love Story, 22 and I Knew You Were Trouble.

Her show will have you on the edge of your seat, as she continues to bring mediumship into the 21st century.

Junk model homes

Paper Engineering

Join performance artist Tom Marshman for a second workshop and tour as we explore the lives of sailors at sea and forgotten LGBTQI+ figures Hartlepool. From the Navy to Firefighters, hear more about the working Lives of LGBTQI+ people, from the past to the present.

Create a miniature home using junk modelling techniques. Will your home be for the museum tiger? A Roman family? Herman the Merman? Or someone else! Suitable for ages five and above.

Learn how to make moving paper toys and crafts in this paper engineering session. Best suited for ages 8 and above, younger visitors could still take part with an adult to assist.
