Hartlepool Art Club is a meeting place for all art lovers. They offer a variety of activities including talks, demonstrations, workshops and exhibitions by practising professional artists and lecturers. There’s always a friendly welcome whether you join as a keen beginner, an experienced painter or just have an interest in art. Suitable for adults, no experience necessary.
Join our children’s art group and learn new skills and techniques. The group is run by renowned local artist and comic creator Keith Robson, famous for his work on the Beano and the Dandy. Suitable for age 5+.

Young Producers is a group of 16–25-yearolds who help shape and plan events and exhibitions across our museums.
We put young people at the centre of our work, offering real opportunities to get involved in programming, planning, future developments, and collections — while also learning about careers in our museums and the wider creative sector.
Presented by Theatre Hullabaloo and Tees Valley Museums Group, with Makers of Imaginary Worlds. An interactive play space for children aged 0–7. Explore light tables, shadow play, magnifiers, mirrors, lenses and cogs. Babies can enjoy soft black-and-white areas, with tactile objects perfect for snuggling and discovery.
