We can’t help but stand in awe of what God is doing through our church family From a mother who found hope through our outreach to a young leader finding their voice, the stories are endless God is bringing together your talents, gifts, and generosity to fulfill His mission on this earth, just as Jesus commanded in Matthew 28

It's remarkable how God invites you and me to participate in fulfilling His mission here on earth. Through the Waymaker initiative, we've witnessed the incredible impact of our collective efforts as our distinct passions, talents, and abilities harmonize to create a meaningful difference

The WayMaker Initiative at Highpoint Church encompasses the desire to reach people globally, advance the mission locally, and raise up future Christian leaders to continue fulfilling the Great Commission

Within this booklet, you'll delve into stories illustrating the transformative impact driven by your generosity, explore the global and local reach of our partners, and witness the collaborative support that's making a tangible difference across the world

WHAT IS WAYMAKER?

Through Waymaker, we champion vital international mission endeavors like supplying vehicles and humanitarian aid, church planting, offering resources for pastoral development, and ensuring that every individual, across the nations, have the opportunity to encounter the Gospel.

Waymaker is the mechanism to fund the expansion and future development of Highpoint, plant life-giving, Spirit-filled churches in our communities, and minister to the hurting in our own backyard We do not do this for comfort, fancy buildings, or recognition, but for the purpose of making a space for those not yet here to personally know how much God loves them.

RAISE UP FUTURE CHRISTIAN LEADERS

We are committed to walking alongside our upcoming Christian leaders, nurturing within them a passion for the Bible and God, and reaching the lost Through our internal initiatives and partnerships, we collaborate to address the holistic needs of our future leaders, from infancy to the early stages of their careers We aim to encourage the next generation to engage in greater acts of service, generosity, and love

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I GIVE TO THE WAYMAKER INITIATIVE?

At Highpoint, we believe in the tithe - giving back to God the first 10% of our income The tithe is used for the operations and day-to-day ministry at Highpoint Church When you give to the WayMaker initiative, above and beyond the tithe, we come together as the body of Christ, each doing our individual part to rise up and be part of seeing the extraordinary take place By God’s abundant grace and blessings, and through the intention and sacrificial living of many, we as a church family, can give away hundreds of thousands of dollars so that many can come and know Jesus personally

These funds will be distributed to world-class organizations and partners working to expand the kingdom of God in our community, our nation, and all across the globe If this seems like a big task and responsibility, it is because it is! But with the help of the Holy Spirit and us working together, we can and will make a difference

When you catch the heartbeat of generosity at Highpoint you can see beyond a giving initiative to realize that you are building the kingdom of God so that everyone may know Jesus Christ personally

A DRIVING PASSION TO BRING HOPE EVERYWHERE.

Convoy of Hope’s US and international programs are deisnged to address real needs in communities

Convoy of Hope is a lighthouse of love and support in some of the darkest times and toughest places around the world Through its various programs, Convoy aims to provide tangible assistance and spiritual hope to those in need Through our WayMaker initiative, Highpoint partners with Convoy of Hope’s Disaster Relief and Children’s Feeding programs These efforts reach far and wide, touching lives both in times of sudden crisis and in the daily struggles against poverty and hunger

When Hurricane Helene and Milton roared through communities, leaving destruction in its wake, Convoy of Hope’s Disaster Relief team was already on the ground being able to respond immediately. With its rapid deployment of resources and experienced staff, Convoy quickly set up distribution points and worked tirelessly to meet the most urgent needs of those affected. Convoy’s presence in these moments is more than just a provision of aid; it’s a declaration of hope in the face of despair. Their teams don’t just respond to disasters they help rebuild lives, restoring hope and stability to devastated communities

Convoy of Hope doesn't just serve in disaster relief. They also serve vulnerable communities around the world, transforming lives through their ongoing programs One of the most powerful examples of this is the Children’s Feeding Program, which currently serves 571,000+ children in 36 countries For just $120, a child receives meals for an entire school year, providing nutrition and the opportunity to focus on education and personal development These meals are lifelines in some of the world’s most impoverished and dangerous places

For Robert, a young boy growing up in Mathare Kenya, the Children’s Feeding Program has been life-changing Mathare is a place where hope is difficult to find Mathare is one of the most dangerous places in all of Kenya Residents have little to no access to clean water, food, or medicine Disease spreads rapidly Robert’s parents own a liquor store, which doubles as their home. His parents fight often and are frequently drunk.

“There was no peace at home for a long time,” Robert said. “It’s devastating and stressful.” But Robert is breaking the cycle. His teachers call him the epitome of hope and resilience Every day at school, Robert receives food from Convoy’s Children’s Feeding program Additionally, Robert is mentored in Youth Programming, where he learns about leadership, trades, and how to give back to his community

Mathare along with much of the continent of Africa is experiencing the worst hunger crisis the world has seen in 50 years But there is hope In Robert’s story and in the stories of each child fed in Mathare through Convoy’s Children’s Feeding program, there is hope From disaster zones to impoverished communities, Convoy of Hope stands as a testament to the power of compassion in action Whether it’s providing immediate relief after a Hurricane or nurturing children like Robert, Convoy’s mission is clear: to bring hope to the hopeless, one act of love at a time.

Convoy of Hope is a faith-based, nonprofit organization with a driving passion for feeding the world through children’s feeding initiatives, community outreaches, and disaster response

Speed the Light

Speed the Light is a student- initiated program to help provide the “essential transportation and creative communication” equipment that our missionaries need for evangelism. Our missionaries can help make Jesus known through modern transportation, radio, television, print, audio, and digital equipment.

ADVANCE THE MISSION LOCALLY: EXPANDING TO REACH MORE PEOPLE

Highpoint Church has been blessed to experience remarkable growth over the past few years. From October 2021 to August 2024, in only three years, we have increased our weekly average attendance by over 100%! Look at what God has done! This growth is not just a number but a testament to lives being changed and transformed through the power of Jesus Christ That figure represents countless people finding hope, healing, and a sense of belonging in our community These statistics reflect stories of real people like Sophia

When Sophia first walked into Highpoint, she was quiet and reserved Our Usher Team Lead, Chris, greeted her and immediately noticed her hesitancy With a smile, he looked her squarely in the eyes and said, “Welcome home!” That small moment of genuine connection made all the difference Since then, Sophia has been water baptized and even had her baby dedicated here at Highpoint Her story represents so many others individuals finding a place where they are seen, valued, and invited into a relationship with God and His people.

As we continue to reach more people like Sophia, we face a very real challenge space. By the end of 2022, Pastor Caleb shared the vision and the need for more parking to accommodate our growing congregation He made a bold statement of faith, proclaiming that we would complete this project without debt At the time, we didn’t have the funds for such a project, but we believed in God’s provision And God responded in miraculous ways

Since casting this vision, God has provided in incredible ways We were gifted 2 acres of land adjacent to our property, and the dirt needed to level the area for parking was also donated On top of that, one of our members, a qualified contractor and company owner, has committed to providing the labor, machinery, and supplies necessary to complete the parking lot expansion This means that our primary financial focus is now on the hard costs, making this project feasible and within reach

With these blessings, we will be able to add nearly 150 new parking spots, enabling us to comfortably serve nearly 1,000 people each service But this project is about more than just adding parking spaces it’s about creating an environment that fosters connection and community Alongside the new parking lot, we are excited to develop a beautiful courtyard outside the point, adjacent to the café. This space will include a concrete patio, shaded seating, a small stage for outdoor services, a turf area for kids to play, a fire pit, and plenty of room for groups to gather. It will be a place for youth events, relational gatherings, and for our church family to enjoy Colorado’s 300 days of sunshine each year

This development will significantly enhance our curb appeal, but more importantly, it will give us a greater opportunity to build community and help people connect with one another and with God It’s not just about creating more space it’s about creating intentional spaces where life change can happen

Every project, every investment, and every square foot we add is about advancing the mission: to help people know God, find freedom, discover purpose, and make a difference. These physical expansions are a direct reflection of our commitment to reach more people, make more disciples, and create environments where people can belong before they believe This is how we will continue to see lives changed and our community transformed for generations to come

So when you think about the new parking lot, don’t just see asphalt and spaces See Sophia See every person who will be welcomed with a smile, invited to a seat, and introduced to the love of Christ Because that’s what this project is truly about making room for more lives to be changed

A Christ-centered organization focused on helping people gain freedom from chemical addictions and other life-controlling issues.

FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES

FCA is a Christian sports ministry designed to see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes We will partner with them to adopt local teams to serve future leaders

CAMP TRANSPORTATION

Summer camp is a life-changing experience for every child and student who attends We have the vision to cover transportation costs so that more kids can afford to go to youth camp.

YOUTH & CHILDREN’S EXPERIENCES

Investing in and equipping our passionate and skilled staff and volunteers with tools to effectively lead our youth and children in spiritual encounters with Jesus so that they may be raised up to change the world

REEVES INITIATIVE

Sponsoring youth kids in foster care to attend spiritual transformation trips (camps, retreats, missions trips).

FORGE

Forge is focused on raising up more Kingdom Laborers who live purposefully and share God's love They support churches in spiritual decisions and activation through preaching, equipping, and discipleship resources.

Howdoyoumakeacommitmentfor WayMaker?

By God's abundant grace and blessings, and through the sacrifice of many, we are able to give away hundreds of thousands of dollars every year supporting reputable organizations and individuals working to expand the Kingdom of God throughout our communities, our country and the rest of the world

To see these things come to reality will require a generous sacrifice from us all, some giving sacrificially and some from great abundance If this is your first time giving or if you are looking to increase the level of your generosity, here are some ways to help you succeed.

First, make a plan to give. When you have plans and are diligent, it leads to plenty (Proverbs 21:5) God is excited when you have a plan! Whatever the amount is have the plan in place, work the plan and be obedient with it

Next, ask God to give you a vision of what He could do through you with His help. This is beyond what you can do in your natural income This requires you to take a step of faith Additionally, Habakkuk 2:2 tells us to write that vision down and pray about it! God will supply all your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Stepping out in faith pleases God. When you look at what He has in His hands, it goes to another level!

Lastly, what would be a dream amount you could give?

Hold on to it This number is only between you and God Watch as each step of faith you take, God moves you closer to that dream. God can do exceedingly abundantly more than all we can ask for or imagine (Ephesians 3:20)

While there will be hundreds of people giving to WayMaker, always remember every gift matters to God It's not the size of the gift, but the obedience to God's voice that matters most Now more than ever, make a plan to give, ask God for a vision in your generosity, and hold on to the dream of what God will do as you step out in faith!
