New city leaders sworn in ***** Above was from the Howe Enterprise 49 years ago this week. Every year at this edition, we roll the odometer over to another year. Now we enter Volume 61 representing 61 years of editions. Today, this ol’ editor also rolls the odometer over to age 49. ***** President Trump appeared on a CNN Town Hall last week which gave them 3.3 million viewers. That number is way more than they typically had during the four years they lied about him every night. ***** New York became the first state to ban gas stoves in new buildings because surely they were connected to January 6. ***** 15 days to flatten the curve, new normal, stay home, close your business, get a test, cover your face, Zoom school and church, mail in your vote, get a jab, get another test, don’t ask about BLM riots, or the election, or Hunter’s laptop, or Antifa at Capitol, or gas prices, or inflation, or Ukraine money, or athletes dying, or transgenders, or the border. Michael Hill were officially sworn in on Thursday evening at Summit Gardens by Howe’s Municipal Judge, the Honorable Britton Brooks. McDonald was sworn in with her hand on her family bible held by her husband Larry. The wives of Ingram and Hill also held bibles as they were then sworn in by Mayor McDonald. Ingram said the lack of communication and transparency over the water source change initiated him to file for city council.
