COLD SHOT in 2021 A long-standing tradition for the final edition of the year for the Howe Enterprise is to take a look back and review how we got here. This year was better than 2020 in a sense that schools and businesses weren’t shut down for long periods of time and mask mandates were lifted by the conservatives. But the draconian measures are still widely in place in other parts of the country. 2021 will be a year known for “the jab” with vaccines being the hot topic. By the end of 2021, people were being told to get booster shots because two doses of a vaccine weren’t enough. Now parts of the world are requiring vaccine passports. Freedomloving people around the globe are beginning to get a little nervous in the anticipation of the “Dark Winter” that Joe Biden has been talking about for awhile. In 2021, we saw what some call an overthrow of the U.S. government. Joe Biden even said in a video that his team created “the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.” Some say it was just his dementia speaking. It’s been two years different than the previous 45 I’ve known. EDITOR’S NOTE—This column is reserved as an editorial column and may not necessarily reflect the policy of this publication.
