ing, the Howe Fall Festival was the place to be. Kids lined up for face-paintings,
games, hair-coloring, dunking booth, and more. Adults were able to enjoy sausage-
on-a-stick, BBQ sandwiches, and even some spot-made cupcakes. The event last-
ed from 5pm—9pm at the Howe Intermediate/Middle School parking lot.
Losing skid hits 15 for Bulldogs, Howe All-School Reunion lose to private school, 27-20 lunch tickets on sale After having to cancel the week two matchup with Bells due to illness, Howe scheduled a game last Thursday on their bye week for a tune up before district play. Howe Head Coach Bill Jehling scheduled a private school— Weatherford Christian School. The talk about Howe football over the past several years quickly turns to the scheduling disadvantage where Howe is one of the very smallest schools in 3A Division I which has certainly contributed to the Dogs’ 15-game losing streak. The weekend begins with the Howe Bulldogs hosting the Commerce Tigers at Bulldog Stadium at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $5 for general admission at the gate. At halftime, Howe High School at 200 Ponderosa Rd, will open for those who would like to gather together. On Saturday morning at 9 am, the high school will open for
coffee and donuts and at 11 am a $16 luncheon and a program will be held at the high school which will be catered by Dickey’s BBQ. On Saturday night, the Howe Ex-Students Association is hosting a scholarship benefit concert featuring The Chicago Tribute Authority Texas which is a Chicago cover band featuring HHS graduate Rod Hawkins. The alumni organization gives a $600 scholarship each year
