Excerpt from the statement:
"We hypothesized that if we found statistically significant effects at the threshold of 18 or 36 months, we would conclude that early vaccination of children with the MMR vaccine could lead to autistic characteristics or features. (...) We all met and agreed on the protocol of the study, as well as the analysis plan. The goal was not to deviate from the analysis plan, to avoid the fiasco that occurred with the Verstraeten Thimerosal study published in Pediatrics in 2003. (...) All the authors and I met and decided sometime between August and September 2002 not to report any side effects.
Shortly after the meeting, at which we decided to exclude the report of any effects, the coauthors planned to meet again to destroy the documents related to the research. The other four coauthors met and brought a large wastebasket into the meeting room, looked through all the paper documents we thought we should throw away, and threw them into a huge trash bin. kept paper copies of all documents in my office, as well as all related computer files." *** Nearly 4,000 people who have been fully vaccinated have tested positive for the coronavirus, according to new data from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
