Howe Fourth grade flag football team win, 42-34
On Saturday, the Fourth Grade Howe Flag Football team brought the win home against Tiago 4234. The Howe offense team was on its game with Jackson Culp running in two touchdowns and Gavin Snapp with in one touchdown. Camden Riley and Brett Roberts each ran in a touchdown and Ayden Kane scored two touchdowns and ran for two extra points.

The Bulldogs’ defense struggled in the beginning but came back and held Tioga.
Howe’s First Flag Football played back to back games today and are currently undefeated. Jase had two touchdowns.
Home values in 75459 on the rise according to Zillow



A typical home on the market in the 75459 zip code is currently going to $208,598 this year compared to $202,437 a year ago. That equates to a 3.4 percent increase. Currently, there are 36 homes for sale and two have sold recently according to an August 23 report.

making it a “drive-by social.” Not only did they drive up, but they walked up, rode up on bicycles and motorcycles.
“We’re not going to let COVID ruin our lives,” said Cavender while serving ice cream. “We’re doing the ice cream social for Howe that we always do, but we’re doing it outside.” The event was held just outside of Summit Gardens on O’Connell Street instead of traditionally at the Howe Chamber office.
Sandy Franz of Cavender Home Theater organized the event and greeted people from Highway 5 and helped them with their ice cream options.

The cooler was packed with Fat Boy Ice Cream Sandwiches, Klondike Bars, Blue Bell Cups, Snickers and more.
“This is a great event for the chamber and has become a great tradition,” said Howe Chamber President Robert Cannaday. “We’ve had so many cancellations this year, that we were thrilled when Chris came up with an alternative idea to be able to keep it going.”
