Some upgrades are taking place at North Texas’ oldest active stadium. The Howe Athletic Booster Club approved an expenditure to help wrap the doors of the home and visiting locker rooms similar to what was recently done in the athletic wing at the high school. Bulldogs Head Coach Bill Jehling was excited about Texas Bulldog logo on the back of the press box with wording, “Bulldog Pride Never Dies.”
Also, to improve the in-game experience at the stadium in the fall, the Howe Enterprise is supplying sound equipment for fans to be able to hear the live radio feed of the broadcast in the concession area and behind the home bleachers. Much like at major universities, the radio feed will not be heard from the bleachers, but only in the walkway areas.
The Enterprise has also purchased advertising space on the scoreboard to fill the final space.
The work on the doors and back of the press box was done by Specialists Screen Printing.
