Harvey signs to play college basketball in Colorado

Ally Harvey made it official last Wednesday when she signed to play basketball at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado.

“In July, we reached out to the coach and he asked if we wanted to come out for an official visit and as soon as I got there I thought, ‘this is it,’” said Harvey.

After spending time snow skiing in Colorado with the family, the environment felt right to her she said.

Harvey will most likely graduate with her college Associates Degree before she graduates from high school. She’s planning to major in Criminal Justice.

Last year as a junior, Harvey was the District 10-3A MVP and led Howe in points (341), points per game (11.4), blocks (54), rebounds (238), at steals (55).

As a sophomore, she was the District 10-3A Defensive Player of the Year.
