Howe Youth Cheerleaders are National Champions

Members of the cheerleading team are (not in order with the picture) Emma Alvarez, Lilly McDaniel, Melody Parrish, Raley Freeman, Torryn Latva, Addison Donoho, Amy Ray Roberts, Kennedy Kirk, Riley Sullivan, Aaliyah Williams, Trina Lainez, Telila Bingham, Jillian Branscum, Bella Stevens, Rianne Douglas, Jaylee Yowell, and Ava Giddens.

It was a long night at the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio and a long drive home late Sunday evening, but it was a happy ride for the Howe Youth Cheerleaders and their parents as the girls took home the Fun Cheer National Championship Award for their outstanding performance

The youngest age is five and the oldest is nine of the competition team from Athletic Cheer Force in

Howe Coach Dee Hardy is a veteran of in the cheerleading profession and is now coaching kids of cheerleaders she had years ago The assistant coaches are Emily Stevenson and Chaney Barcheer

The cheerleading team usually competes in Denton which is a one-day event on Sundays for a page 9

The construction is still on schedule as Superintendent Kevin Wilson says the project is still on pace and under budget at $16 9 million

This week, a concrete roof will be poured over the portion with concrete walls for the shelter portion of the elementary school

The school is set to open in August
