Howe 14U all-stars headed to state; 12U headed to regional round

Due to rather unique circumstances, the Howe 14U had a remarkable way of advancing to the state tournament All they had to do is play in a three game series with Sherman and win or lose, they were headed to the big tournament But Howe, now having to go in Division I instead of Division II, took the most of their opportunities and defeated Sherman in the series, two games to none Howe won the first game on Saturday 13-6 and then took the second game on Sunday by a score of 6-2

Howe's 12U caught a bracket break also and are playing for the championship tonight at Pottsboro
Sunday which puts them in the championship game after two victories on Saturday Howe defeated Whitesboro 10-5 thanks to a well-timed 3-run homer by Cooper Jones Howe later defeated Pottsboro 18-3 The Bulldogs then faced a tough Collinsville team on Sunday who defeated Howe 6-1 The Bulldogs had good pitching all weekend from Anthony Lowder, Garrett Gibbs, Brian Crees, Kolin Murphy, and Kade Murphy
The Howe 10U All-Stars were eliminated on Sunday after the team left everything on the field
