Howe Youth Baseball has a busy All-Star weekend

Howe Youth Baseball hosted the 8U All-Star tournament over the weeekend Volunteers spent many hours throughout the week preparing the field and then working gates, concessions, announcements and everything in between Kelly Grant and Larry Windon spearheaded the volunteer efforts with the help of the Mike Stephens family, Mike Portman family, and the Steven Hance family as well as many others Pottsboro and Collinsville will p in the championship tonight T game is located at the youth sof fields on East Davis Street

Howe's 10U and 12U each competed in a preseason All-Sta tournament in Bells where the 1 lost the first game 18-1 to Bells Pitchers for Howe were Eli Ston Caleb Cox, and Gage Carr. The Howe 12U played in the championship game on Sunday, but lost to Blue Ridge 7-0 Cooper Jones and Anthony Lowder were the pitchers

Howe took game one on Thursday night against Dodd City in an 11-0 blowout The Bulldogs then beat Cooper on Saturday in a come- from-behind classic But the second game for Howe on Saturday ended in a loss to Blue Ridge That put Howe in the loser's bracket to play Fannin County which they won The game put them into the championship against Blue Ridge with a rematch, but Howe was unable to overcome the great pitching performance by the Tigers

Howes 6U All Stars played Pottsboro and Tom Bean and were eliminated in the tournament with a loss to each team.
