Lt Col Karen Wagner, born in 1961, had spent her life in the army caring for others as part of the medical corps. Wagner grew up in a military family in San Antonio In her position at the Pentagon, she helped organize where medical personnel would be stationed

Lauren Catuzzi Grandcolas was born in Bloomington, Indiana, in 1963 She was raised in Houston and graduated from Stratford High School in Houston before attending the University of Texas She had taken a number of jobs before becoming a marketing expert for Good Housekeeping and was working on a self-help book for women In addition, she was three months pregnant with her first child She was devoted to many charitable causes, trying to help others She was returning from her grandmother’s funeral when she boarded United Airlines Flight 93 She worked with other passengers in an attempt to retake the airliner, taking time to call her husband on the ground

Passengers were able to retake the plane just as it was crashed into a quiet field in Pennsylvania Since her passing, her family has established a scholarship in her honor at Stratford High School and a foundation to provide money for different charities

The memories of the nation of that terrible day are filled with the reminders of fear but also of the courage that kept more lives from being lost Memorials across the nation give testimony to not only what was lost but to the unbreakable spirit of a heartbroken

Crawford Beebe recovered an onside kick and Howe quickly went one play and 51 yards on a pass and catch from Campbell to Cooper Jones Parker Daniels ran in the extra point to extend Howe's lead to 14-0

Ulmer added a 31-yard touchdown with 1:21 left in the first quarter and a 20-0 Howe lead On the first play of the second quarter, Gage Troxtell scampered 25 yards for another Bulldog touchdown Kolin Murphy ran in the extra point to extend the Bulldogs' lead to 27-0

Ulmer later ran 76 yards for a score, but a blocking infraction nullified the tally and Howe took the 27-0 lead to halftime

Douglass Distributing and Lone Star Food Stores sent a press release to the Sherman Chamber of Commerce on Thursday to educate the public on the current fuel shortage in the area They say the shortage is a result of a southern refinery shutting down temporarily during the storms of Hurricane Harvey In a written statement, Brad Douglass, CEO of Douglass Distributing said that he wanted everyone to know that they still have access to plenty of fuel The lines that our delivery trucks are waiting in are just much longer because of the refinery shut down
