White goes back and forth to Nashville once or twice a month to write with many of the most talented writers and artists

Scott Sean, too, is no stranger to Van Alstyne, having been a regular performer at El Patio Escondido for the past three years

Both performers will have CDs available at the concert The concert will be held at Dorothy Fielder Park in downtown Van Alstyne, and music will run from 6:30-8 p m Lawn chairs are a definite plus and ice chests and picnic dinners perfectly acceptable, without alcoholic beverages since the park is on city property

Upcomng Music in the Park concerts will have The Bodarks String Band on Tuesday, July 25; and the Big Gus Samuelson trio on Tuesday, Aug 15
