Howe's That The Howe Development Alliance, City of Howe, and the Howe Area Chamber of Commerce combined on a promotional video about the city. Your favorite hometown news/audio/video organization produced the compilation to the backdrop of the Aaron Watson song, "Big Love in a Small Town." If you haven't seen it, check it out here: https://goo.gl/k1xyDE The way we broadcast sports will change this year, although, it is our hopes that you, the consumer, will not see a difference. In fact, we are hoping to take advantage of a few more useful tools in scheduling events thanks to a live stream to YouTube. Our partnership with CityLinkTV.com has been great since the summer of 2014, but we're always looking at options to provide better service. We told her to inform the club that she had Russian ties which would surely eliminate her from being considered. She didn't inform them, and now one could expect an 11month investigation. Our attorney is on hold for now.

Volunteers of all ages participate in Great Days of Service

Lady Bulldogs take District 10-3A Offensive MVP and Pitcher of the Year

Youngsters pick clear and haul off brush from a Great Days of Service project on Reed Circle. This year's annual town cleanup, thanks to the efforts of the Great Days of Service volunteers, worked projects on 20 locations with one that had to be placed on hold due the need of a termite sprayer. The organization was comprised this year of the Rocket 88 Volunteer Youth and Adult Groups, as well as local churches such as Community Bible Fellowship, First United

Methodist Church of Howe, New Beginning Fellowship, and First Baptist Church of Howe, and Howe Church of Christ. One of the coordinators, Carolyn Cherry said, "I'm very excited to see the graceful hands of all different denominations in people of Howe working together for the good to bles our neighbors in need. Party thrown for outgoing police chief

It was another grand Fathers Day as we had a family breakfast with dad, and a family lunch with the dadin-law. I feel bad for the kids without great dads. It must be devastating to those that grow up without one and have to watch everyone else brag about theirs.

Howe is so small that there's not even that one town idiot. But several people take turns.

City Council will meet tonight at 6 pm. One agenda item has Howe Police Sgt. Michael Hill to be named interim police chief should the council vote in favor of such. They also are discussing a stipend for the temporary position.
