The Law office of Nall, Pelley and Wynne, L.L.P. said in a letter that the attorney fees would estimate $10,000 and said, "I just want to be up front and tell you that I think you would be fighting an uphill battle. In light of the response that we received from the Mission Gate's attorney, I think your best options, and perhaps your only options at op this point, would be to either abandon your efforts, or try to prevail in a claim for the injuncitive relief."
What Michael Wynne didn't realize when he wrote that letter is that the "Not in Grayson County" group had a state representative involved who was also from Grayson County

"Without Larry Phillips, none of this happens " said Hunt "Within about a week, Larry gets a meeting with us and (Senator) Craig Estes and the prison parole board who were over the blessing of the site and the agreement was made that they would not bless the site. With that, it was over."
Prior to that, the group raised $10,505 from the community by calling and knocking on doors to collect the money that was to go to attorney fees. That unused money, last week, was donated to the "Save the Church" effort.
Once again, with the help of State Representative Larry Phillips, the "Save the Church" program will use that money and match the funds for a much greater sum through a grant The event this Saturday will determine much
