telling our problem to go jump in a lake Think of that friend that is better than you are in a certain area You have faith they can help you where your faith is lacking in yourself accomplishing it

“If you have faith and don’t doubt, I promise that you can do what I did to this tree And you can tell this mountain to get up and jump into the sea, and it will,” Matthew 21:21

I have a confession, I‘ve never told a mountain to jump and it obeyed, much less jump into the sea I have told a problem to get lost (that’s speaking nicely y’all) and it did Your mountain is your problem. It may be something contrary to the word of God for your life or anything that is a barrier to you completing God's will. Many believers spend time praying to God about their mountain and may even describe the mountain in full detail with the exact dimensions of the mountain like God doesn’t know Some may cry, moan and complain to God about what a hindrance or impossibility the mountain is in their life That’s an excuse for not participating in your own life Many believers will pray and ask God to do something Jesus is clearly telling His disciples that with faith they can speak to their own mountain The lack of faith is why we don’t feel capable of

Faith is built through prayer and God’s Word Jesus speaks of a faith filled prayer, “Everything you ask for in prayer will be yours, if you only have faith,” Matthew 21:24 Prayer builds your relationship with God through Jesus Christ. “So then faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of God,” Romans 10:17. The Bible builds your confidence in who you are in Christ He saved you and you can do all things through Him who gives you the strength (Phil 4:13) God’s Word is full of promises and details of His ability and trustworthiness The more you read the Bible the more you will trust Him to be the same with you “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever,” Hebrews 13:8 He would not tell you to do something that He didn’t also equip you to accomplish He’s a good and loving God “As bad as you are, you still know how to give good gifts to your children. Your heavenly Father is even more ready to give good things to those who ask Him,” Matthew 7:11.

Jesus didn't tell us to ignore or deny the mountain or problem We are not to say, "I don't have a mountain" or "what problem?" It certainly isn’t about the practice of positive thinking like saying over and over; "I can climb over that mountain, I will go around that mountain, it won’t stop me" A positive attitude is always good, but a positive attitude is not what Jesus said to do with mountains Jesus said to speak to the mountain and tell it to be moved (Mark 11:23) He said that any believer can tell a mountain, "You be lifted up and thrown into the sea" or "Go, throw yourself into the sea" or "Go jump in the lakeno shuffling or shilly-shallyingand it's as good as done" (The Message) Jesus says, "If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you," Matthew 17:20. A believer can say to the mountain “be moved, go to some other dimension that I don't inhabit’”

Authority is exhibited by speaking You speak to persons that you have authority over You don't ask or plead; you direct and require and action You exhibit faith when you trust God because He said speak to your mountain and He will remove it It’s His power and your faith that removes the problem Faith involves you placing confidence in God's spoken word and responding to it

Jesus gave the twelve disciples authority to heal the sick and every kind of disease, raise the dead, and force out evil spirits. (Matthew 10:1, 10:8, Matthew 16:18-19) The Lord chose seventy-two other followers and sent them out two by two to every town and village where He was about to go,” Luke 10:1 “Heal their sick and say, God’s kingdom will soon be there,” Luke 10:9 “ I have given you the power to trample on snakes and scorpions and to defeat the power of your enemy Satan Nothing can harm you,” Luke 10:19 We are His hands and His feet today All believers in Jesus Christ were given the faith it took to believe in a God we cannot see to save us. We are His disciples. If we don’t exhibit the faith that moves mountains then why would an unbeliever have trust that God can change their circumstances? If you have never accepted Jesus as your Lord and you can’t relate to this kind of faith please contact me or someone who can lead you to the One who will give you eternal salvation
