Griffin Underwood got the start on the mound for Howe on Tuesday night at home A few defensive lapses prevented him from picking up the win. He went five innings, struck out six and walked two while giving up all 5 runs

Callisburg scored four runs in the second on four hits and two errors

All the runs came across after the a two-out error, therefore, none of Underwood's runs were earned

The Wildcats scored again in the fifth on a dropped fly ball in the infield with two outs, which also resulted in an unearned run

Matt Griffin entered the game in the sixth and was brilliant in his two innings of work He struck out three and only gave up an infield single in the seventh; after which he promptly picked the runner off of first base

Offensively, Howe hit the ball a little bit better throughout the lineup tonight The 'Dogs scored one in the first when Easton Ross reached on an error Quinton Harris brought him home with an infield single

Howe scored four runs in the fourth, thanks mostly due to Callisburg's pitcher not being able to find the strike zone Howe drew seven walks and got one hit in the inning
