Lawnmower races and horseshoe tournaments for Founders Day

In an effort to bring back the old spirited Founders Day celebration of years gone by, The Howe Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring several events to take place downtown on the April 25 annual festival

During the day, there will be a lawnmower drag race in downtown on Haning Street Participants are asked to get their mowers ready and decked out for what hopes to be an annual event.

A horseshoe tournament will also take place and it will be five dollars to enter the tournament Winner takes all

The chamber is also discussing a volleyball tournament at #1 Fitness
