Bulldogs beat Pottsboro, 68-51
Howe junior Griffin Underwood racked up 20 points to pace Howe (14-5, 2-0) past Pottsboro at home on Tuesday night The Bulldogs jumped on the Cardinals early and never looked back with a 15-6 first quarter lead Pottsboro shaved three points off of the Howe lead going in to the half trailing 32-24, but a dominating third quarter saw the Howe defense hold Pottsboro to only two points for the entire period period while Howe tacked on another 11 The teams tied 25-25 in the fourth quarter, but by then, the damage was done and Howe came away with a 68-51 win
Other scorers were Levi Mrozinski and Easton Ross, each with 12. Michael Kehrer added 11, Nick Wilson had seven, Tyler Grisham chipped in four, and Sam Akins rounded out the scoring with his two points.
