Dedication

Mrs. Newby joined the Howe family in 1993 after earning a B.S. degree in Biology from Manchester College. In 2003, she earned her Masters degree in School Administration from Ball State.

Mrs . Newby is one of our school's most revered teachers. Her reputation of being a friend as well as mentor to her students has often earned her the title of "favorite teacher ' or "the teacher I'm going to miss most" by senior classes throughout the past 11 years.

Mrs. Newby has coached many sports teams and advised several clubs at Howe. Girls Basketball, Boys Soccer, Softball, Junior High Track, 8th grade Basketball, VHC club, and Senior Class adviser, to name just a few. When she is not coaching or mentoring a club, she is often seen volunteering her time to help with other activities.

Most of all, Mrs. Newby is a devoted mom to her two daughters and husband , Tim!

Mrs. Amy L.
