Will you seek far off? you surely come back at last, In things best known to you finding the best, or as good as the best, In folks nearest to you finding the sweetest, lovingest, Happiness, knowledge, not in another place but this place, not for another hour, but this hour, Man in the first you see or touch, always in friend, brother, nighest neighbor-- woman in mother, sister in wife, The popular tastes and employments taking precedence in poems or anywhere, You workwomen and workmen of these States having your own divine and strong life, And all else giving place to men and women like you.

Yearbook Staff: "The Best Yet!"
The 1999 Tatler yearbook was printed in Shawnee Mission , Kansas by the Herff Jones Publishing Company. The theme "Start to Finish" was developed by the yearbook staff and became the focus of each section. This book consists of 8 pages of full color and 8 pages of spot color to enhance the quality of the book. All pages were created using the Adobe Pagemaker 6.0 program, t0acromedia Freehand, and the Adobe Photoshop image editor running on Pentium 233 computers in the Multimedia Computer Lab.
The TATLER staff consists of cadets Janet Williamson, Maggie Siaw, Eric Talley, and Jen Yost. Faculty Adviser Mrs. Beams and Photography Adviser Mr. Bauman appreciate all thier work in making the pages of the 1999 Tatler unique and "one-of-a-kind!" Even the
DARN mock elections that seemed like such a good idea at the beginning, but turned out to be an enormous undertaking were worth it! Thanks for a great year of laughs and spats during 4th hour. And who could forget the highlight editions of the "Rashard Show"???
A HUGE thanks to Mrs. Johanna Arklie for her work on cranking out the Junior High section! It looks better every year Again , Thanks to Mr. Bauman for showing up to all sporting events, dances, banquets, special gettogethers, groupings for clubs, teams and the countless other places we made him go in order to get the pictures we needed for these pages of memories!
To all who donated so generously of thier pictures and film to make this yearbook more personal, especially Bobby Finn
and Jon Stinson! What would we do with out Gail Busch and her great abi to recognize those tiny face s the pictures. Thanks also fo r holding the grade card maili so we could add our yearbo c fliers! You saved the day on more than one occasion .. . Mrs. Delle in the business o spent a lot of time organizin g the ad campaign and gettin g info to us so quickly! Thank \ for all your added efforts! Thanks Mrs. Beams for not getting too upset when we missed deadlines, and surv i another year of tickboxes an 10% gray boxes (Yearbook talk)
To all who receive this book: May it bring back special memories for you of your ti here at Howe and all the frie and memorable moments y have created just by making from START to FINISH! Ba Wishes!
