Since 1 894 Howe Military School has brought together a wide scope of students; a me Iting pot if you will. Although each person is unique and individual in their own way , everyone moulds into one corps of cadets , one student body , and a large part of the Howe community Unity is taught throughout our school: team sport s emphasize the goals and achievements of a group , clubs bring together students with the same interests, and each grade level brings students together with their peers. Yet behind all of these classifications of cadets, each person brings their own flavor to the finished product. The 1996-97 Corps of Cadets possesses almost 200 different faces that make up the heart and soul of Howe Military School. The individuality of each person compliments the whole. In other words i t ' · s a I I i n t h e mix!

Commitment is what transforms a promise into rea li ty It is the words that speaks boldly of yo ur intentions. And the actions which speak louder than words. It is making the tinie when there is none. Coming through time after time, year after year after year. Commitment is th e stuff character is made of; the power to change the face of things. It is the daily triumph of integrity over skepticism.

"Do not wish to be anything but what you are, and try to be that perfectly." St. Frances de Sa l es
