A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PLEBE

bH James Streeter and Jake Schuehrer

A plebe is a new student undergoing a period of orientation. 't;his orientation is structured to rapidlH teach new cadets the histoTH and traditions of 'H.00.S. A plebe's life revolves around self discipline, self, respect and above alt, respect for his peers.

Ghe plebes dailH routine consists of performing their schedule with the rest of the Corps, except theH must button their top shirt button at alt times and must run to their designated places when not marching. Under no circumstances wilt a plebe be altowed to speak unless a cadet or master addresses them.

At the end of the three weeks, the plebe orientation comes to a close. Once theH have earned their crests, the plebes become fult fledged cadets. 't;he facultH, staff, and Corps acknowledge that without the three week plebe training session, the new cadets would not progress as quickl9. (Above J CG. 'Rossman assists Ct;.
