We are working closely with faculty to expedite the release of second semester grades where possible, so that employers may have access to updated academic information when making decisions.
Attached you will find a detailed breakdown of deadlines for each session. We kindly ask that you plan accordingly to meet these deadlines and help us maintain a smooth and student-centered recruiting process. Thank you for your continued partnership and support of Howard University School of Law

We urge employers to continue using a broad set of criteria when selecting candidates, looking beyond fall grades to recognize the resilience, leadership, and potential that define Howard Law students. While no single approach can fully resolve the challenges of an evolving recruitment timeline, we believe this structured early OCI is the best path forward for our students. It allows them to remain competitive in the fast-moving legal market while maintaining their ability to focus on their professional growth over the summer.
We appreciate your continued support of Howard Law and our students, and we look forward to working with you in the upcoming recruitment cycle. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our Career Services team at HUSLCareers@law.howard.edu.
