State Representative Ron Reynolds had decided not to run for the 18th Congressional District of Texas. If former State Rep. Jarvis Johnson enters the race, he will immediately get placed in “THE TOP TIER” of contenders who are vying for the coveted CD-18 seat. However, until then, my top tier of CD-18 candidates includes Geoge Foreman IV (Republican), State Rep. Jolanda “Jo” Jones (Democrat), former City Councilwoman Amanda Edwards (Democrat), Carmen Maria Montiel (Republican), Isaiah Martin (Democrat), Harris County Attorney Christian Menefee (Democrat), and Robert Slater (Democrat), are the top contenders.
The candidates who I have in “THE SECOND TIER” are Dr. James Joseph (Democrat), Corisha Rogers (Democrat), Steven Filler (Democrat), Koffey Smith El Bey (Democrat), Selena Samuel (Democrat), Zoe Cadore (Democrat), Ebony Rain Eatmon (Democrat), Larry McKinzie (Democrat), and T.J. Baker (Democrat), are in the second tier of contenders.
