Hello, I am Annelie Hervi, creator and artist of “House on 84th”. I’m a stay-at-home mother of 8, an architectural drafter and a surface pattern designer.

My work is colorful, bold and fresh. It’s inspired by my Scandinavian background and always created with joy.

The following designs are a good sampling of what I have to offer.

Each collection pictured usually has a ton more coordinates, but for brevity and easier viewing, I had to select the best of the best for this magazine portfolio. I have more than 25 years of experience with graphic design and can convert file formats, raster to vector, scaling etc. on demand.

As for my art and design style, you will notice this portfolio is not a cookie-cutter signature style. My signature patterns are colorful, eye-stopping, fun designs that are versatile in a great variety of styles, including; mod, mid century, retro and whimsical. I especially love creating patterns by first drawing the motifs by hand or painting them in watercolor. The digitizing process take the motifs together to perfect the colors, shapes and layouts in beautiful patterns.

Each pattern in this portfolio is a beautiful, seamless pattern ready for use.
