For nearly three decades, Bernd Lembcke guided Mar-a-Lago with remarkable vision and dedication, building the foundation upon which we stand today. I am profoundly grateful for his legacy and to the Trump family for entrusting me with the privilege of carrying it forward. As we embark on the 2025-26 season, I look forward to meeting each of you, hearing your stories, and building meaningful connections that reflect the true spirit of Mar-a-Lago. Bringing Art to Life LEGENDARY GALLERIST AND ART HISTORIAN DOMINIC TAGLIALATELLA PREVIEWS HIS 2026 CULTURAL LECTURE SERIES BY JUDY ALEXANDRA DIEDWARDO
ow entering its 12th year, one of The Mar-a-Lago Club’s most popular cultural programs once again takes center stage under the direction of veteran art historian, lecturer, and Legends Radio host Dominic Taglialatella, who will bring the great masters to life in his signature style — illuminating not only what they painted but why. “I love educating people by shedding light on the influences that shaped these incredible artists and defined their styles,” says Taglialatella, owner of Tella Fine Art in Palm Beach — a museumquality gallery featuring more than 300 works of art — of the series, which sells out year after year. “Each year, I try to build on the series in a way that deepens appreciation and makes art feel alive. I highly recommend people make their reservations early since we sell out quickly.” The 2026 series will open on Jan. 21 with Van Gogh & Gauguin: Two Months of Turmoil in Arles, an exploration of the storied friendship between the two artists and what made the nuances of their styles and perspectives so unique and recognizable. “For example, Gauguin — who worked across multiple mediums and was known for bold colors, exaggerated proportions, and stark contrasts — painted primarily in his studio and created from his imagination,” Taglialatella explains. “Van Gogh, by contrast, often painted outdoors, where he captured expressive landscapes and nature scenes as he saw them, which you can easily see. When you understand the artists’ lives, you can better appreciate their work — and even recognize their work instantly in any museum in the world.” 14

The second installment, Art Legends Minute: Art, Music, and Laughter, takes place on Feb. 25 and will feature a live performance by legendary singer, songwriter, and pianist George Bugatti, who will perform beloved American standards made famous by Frank Sinatra, Doris Day, Roy Orbison, Don McLean, Robert Goulet, and others as Taglialatella discusses and showcases the works of Warhol, Matisse, and Van Gogh. “We wanted to create a fun, immersive experience,” says Taglialatella, who was inspired to integrate elements from his radio show into this year’s series. “After all, bringing art to life should be fun — it should move you emotionally, just like music does.” 16

The series concludes on March 25 with Haring and Basquiat: From the Street to Wall Street, a compelling exploration of how two visionary artists transformed the raw energy of New York’s 1980s graffiti scene into a new visual language that captivated the art world. Taglialatella will trace how their groundbreaking styles not only earned them a place among contemporary art’s greats but also influenced generations of pop culture, from fashion and film to social activism. he Mar-a-Lago Club has a fresh new face at the helm with an enthusiastic mission to bring exciting modern upgrades and unmatched excellence to the Palm Beach icon that opened 30 years ago as a 20-acre private estate. “I’m definitely bringing a fresh young perspective to everything that we’re doing here,” says Kiser, 39, who brings a background in landscape architecture and nearly two decades of experience within the Trump portfolio of private clubs, where he learned the intricacies of the brand’s tradition of excellence from the ground up. “This property is truly in a league of its own. It’s stunningly beautiful with an unbelievable location.” Kiser’s appointment follows the departure of veteran Managing Director Bernd Lembcke, who announced his retirement in May 2025 after three decades of service.

“During my years at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, which was President Trump’s summer residence, I learned the meaning of attention to detail directly from him — from walking the property together and seeing his vision,” explains Kiser, who began at the prestigious New Jersey club as a server before rising through the ranks to general manager. Kiser next spent seven years leading Trump National Golf Club in Colts Neck, New Jersey, before being selected to assume the helm in Palm Beach. “As I’ve gotten older and spent time with Eric [Trump] as well, I’ve been so impressed to see that they invest whatever is needed to make sure that we’re always at the top of our game, which is exactly what we envision for Palm Beach. “What has made me a good leader, and why I’ve always had the staff behind me, is that I started at the bottom and have held nearly every job that you can have throughout the two Trump golf clubs,” Kiser says. “Because I know the operation from the ground up and how to do everybody’s job, I’ve always had the staff’s support — they know I’m always willing to roll up my sleeves and help out.” The improvements Kiser envisions for the club will span the spectrum from infrastructure and amenities to programming and services — all unified by a singular vision of upholding and advancing the Trump brand. “I’m looking at everything — including the ballrooms and tea house to the beach club and guest suites,” Kiser says. “The spa is also a major focus this year, both on the fitness and treatment sides, as well as our tennis program and outdoor facilities.” Drawing on his background in landscape architecture, Kiser also plans to update and enhance the club’s grounds and outdoor facilities. “Mr. Lembcke was an unbelievable leader, and figuring out how to grow and modernize this incredible club while respecting its history is a delicate balance,” Kiser says. “Each of our clubs is so special, with its own unique microculture. It’s going to take baby steps.” Kiser is joined by his wife, Alicia, who also worked at the Bedminster club, and family dogs Frisco and Rossi. “I never saw myself being a Florida person, but if you’re going to live in Florida, this is truly the best possible place.”

Bridging the Gap TWO BELOVED BRIDGE PROS BRING BOTH NEW AND EXPERIENCED PLAYERS INTO THE FOLD BY MARY THURMAN YUHAS
S
ince the 1700s when English nobility played whist (likely developing into bridge), this beloved card game has stood the test of time. Today, millions of people worldwide play bridge — at home, online, and at The Mar-a-Lago Club. Mar-a-Lago’s vigorous card group has been a mainstay since its inception in 1995 and continues to thrive. Players range from beginners to highly experienced individuals who participate in national tournaments. Game devotees meet each Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. during the season, when between 16 and 24 players show up to the Tea Room for a continental breakfast, conviviality, and a chance to trump their opponents. Pun intended. (In bridge, to trump is to make a winning play.) One reason the card game is so popular at Mar-a-Lago is the group’s two professional leaders, Corey and Lisa Krantz. The husbandand-wife team have facilitated bridge at MarCorey and Lisa Krantz a-Lago since 2022. Lisa, an American Contract Bridge League Best Practices teacher, introduces the game to beginners. designer, and illustrator, Lisa is a graduate of Philadelphia’s University of the Arts. Lisa learned to play bridge from her husband’s mother. “The best player in the world is still learning something about it,” Lisa says. “There are always little things to figure out.” Corey began as a chess player at the age of 5. His passion continued until his early 20s when he began playing bridge. “I fell in love with the game,” the American Contract Bridge League platinum life master teacher explains. After earning a master’s degree in finance from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Corey followed his passion and started teaching and playing bridge professionally. There are many reasons to play bridge. “You meet so many nice people” who are also interesting, Lisa notes. It’s also good for the brain. “It is a mental, logical process involving reasoning skills,” Corey says. “It develops social skills and promotes learning to work in a partnership even more than doubles tennis. It also provides vigorous stimulation and promotes emotional well-being. Studies show bridge helps prevent and fight off dementia.” Often considered the chess of card games, the 52-card game is always played with four people teamed up in twosomes with the goal of making “contracts.” “We invite you to check us out whatever your skill level is,” Corey says. “It is a great group, and we have a lot of fun.”

eaceful, tranquil, and sequestered, the Spa at The Mara-Lago Club provides much more than world-class spa treatments in an elegant setting for discerning men and women. Rather, the heart of the Mar-a-Lago Spa is the knowledgeable staff who love their work and return year after year. “Our focus is different from other clubs’,” notes Spa Director Andrea Erickson. “We tailor treatments to our members’ needs and desires as opposed to offering inflexible package treatments.” Open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Spa makes wellness its cornerstone whether you are spending an hour or a full day there. The gym (open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday), yoga and Pilates studio, and pool are Spa extensions. This year, red light therapy, or RLT, has been added to the Spa’s already large array of services. Gentle and noninvasive, RLT may provide benefits ranging from pain relief to healthier skin and complements other treatments already available at the Spa, such facials and massages. WHAT IS RED LIGHT THERAPY? Red light therapy uses wavelengths of red or near-infrared light to increase cellular function by penetrating the skin to enhance tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and increase collagen 22

production. RLT is used in physical therapy clinics, by dermatologists, in gyms, and at home. The process works best when it is integrated into the rest of your wellness and health routine. HOW DOES RED LIGHT THERAPY WORK? Red light therapy works in different wavelengths. For fine lines and wrinkles, shorter red light wavelengths may be best. Longer wavelengths penetrate deeper and may be ideal for joints and muscles. Because light stimulates the cells’ mitochondria, cells may function more efficiently, increasing cell repair and reducing inflammation. BENEFITS OF RED LIGHT THERAPY While RLT is not a cure-all, it can potentially reduce joint stiffness from osteoarthritis. The procedure is used after some surgeries to speed recovery from wounds and also to help minor scrapes and cuts heal. Additionally, RLT may help reduce postexercise soreness. The Spa staff understands that wellness is more than physical well-being: It is also about our mental state. Joanna RegnerLevine, lead Spa esthetician, has worked at the Spa for years. “I’ve watched many of our members’ children grow up, and then their children,” Regner-Levine shares. “After the members’ treatment, we often sit and talk. ears ago, when The Mar-a-Lago Club was still Marjorie Merriweather Post’s home, Lesly Smith — longtime Palm Beach resident, mother of current Palm Beach Mayor Danielle Moore, philanthropist, socialite, Palm Beach Town Council member, and Palm Beach mayor from 2000 to 2006 — was a roommate of Marjorie Merriweather Post’s granddaughter at Foxcroft School, a boarding school in Middleburg, Virginia. “We used to go to Mar-a-Lago together; we ate dinner there, and it was so much fun,” Smith recalls. “We went into the pantry, and I was amazed how many sets of dishes Mrs. Post had.” 28

Following Mrs. Post’s death in 1973 at the age of 86, the estate was bequeathed to the U.S. federal government for use as a winter White House. However, due to its proximity to Palm Beach International Airport, the estate was deemed impossible to secure, making it untenable for any government official. In 1981, the title was conferred back to the Post Foundation. Sadly, for the next four years, the historic site sat largely dark and empty, until Donald Trump purchased it in 1985 for use as a private residence. Thus began the long journey of returning the once-magnificent property to its original grandeur.
THE GENESIS As an adult, Smith was friends with the Trump family, and she recalls the dinner parties she enjoyed at Mar-a-Lago. “There would be about 50 people, and we had a great time. I was impressed that Donald always had his mother sit beside him,” Smith recalls. “Donald would ask people to stand up and make toasts. It was always a very happy table.” By 1993, Mar-a-Lago cost $2 million a year to maintain. That is when the idea of turning Mar-a-Lago into a club — an idea that had been tossed around for years — came into being. Smith was on the Palm Beach Town Council when Mr. Trump first considered converting Mar-a-Lago into a spa. “We heard that on the grapevine, and most were not in favor,” Smith notes. Next came a proposal to subdivide Mara-Lago into between eight and 17 plots for smaller residences with Mar-a-Lago at the center. That idea was also rejected, although Mr. Trump later won a $50 million lawsuit he brought against the town of Palm Beach for preventing the proposed development. Finally, in April of 1993 — after almost 12 hours of hearings from residents on issues ranging from concerns about traffic to lowered property values — the Town Council passed the social club plan, 4-1. Some viewed Mr. Trump as a knight in shining armor for rescuing the historic site, saying the property was a white elephant until he came along. Two million dollars later (money spent on renovations and ongoing negotiations with the town), The Mar-a-Lago Club opened to an enthusiastic response. Membership was limited to 500 people. “People were happy the house was alive again,” says Smith, who fondly remembers parties she attended at The Mar-aLago Club with her daughter. “It’s a beautiful facility.”
International stars such as Elton John and Andrea Bocelli — as well as young musical prodigy Jackie Evancho — often join President Trump at Mar-a-Lago, adding to the club’s vibrant cultural life. Moments like this embody the blend of hospitality, history, and celebration that members cherish.

THE EVOLUTION Businessman, Mar-a-Lago Club member, and Palm Beach Police & Fire Foundation founder John Scarpa has been friends with Donald Trump since Mar-a-Lago began and has watched the club grow. He shares one humorous story of the time when Mr. Trump wanted to install an 80-foot-high flagpole at Mar-a-Lago. The city allowed flagpoles only up to 45 feet tall. Mr. Trump and the town “made a deal” and compromised on a 60-foot-high flagpole, which sits on the highest point at Mar-a-Lago. “Mr. Trump is quite familiar with hospitality, and the club has very high standards,” Scarpa avers. Staff and members come to know one another, and members are cordially greeted at every visit. The grounds are immaculate, and world-class service is de rigueur. Whether members are at the main house, the spa, the tennis center, or the Beach Club, warmth and good fellowship abound. Food and drinks are of epicurean quality, and holidays — with an emphasis on family — are truly special occasions. There are five red-clay tennis courts in place of the one original court. Mar-a-Lago club members enjoy reciprocity at 14 other Trump golf properties, including two in Scotland, one in Ireland, and one in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Beach Club — directly on the Atlantic Ocean — is loved by all. Croquet, played on Mar-a-Lago’s velvet lawns, has enjoyed amazing success, as has the invigorating bridge card group. The spa, salon, and fitness center are unique in that they adapt to each club member’s individual needs. “Mar-a-Lago holds parties and charitable events every month all month long during season, and it has brought some electricity to the island,” Scarpa says. “People enjoy themselves and have a good time.” 30

THE FUTURE Although there have been some traffic complications with security since Mr. Trump became president of the United States, first in 2016 and then in 2024, the good far outweighs the bad, according to Palm Beach Mayor Danielle Moore. “These days, everyone is trying to be a good neighbor,” the mayor shares. Indeed, with President Trump’s first term in the rearview mirror, Palm Beach residents already knew what to expect in terms of traffic after his reelection in 2024. One of the things that come to mind when people think of Palm Beach is the town’s architectural beauty, but there are only about 311 landmark properties left on the island. Because they are private homes, very few are open to be seen by many people. “I think residents appreciate the beauty of Mar-a-Lago and that it is appropriately preserved and protected and a large number of people can see it,” Mayor Moore says. The Mar-aLago Club has a built-in constituency, ensuring its stewardship into the future. “I don’t know what would have happened if the president had not stepped in and saved Mar-a-Lago. It truly was an albatross,” Mayor Moore notes. “Now, it is a beautiful restoration. “I can’t envision Palm Beach without a Mar-a-Lago. When people anywhere in the world think of Palm Beach, they think of Mar-a-Lago, especially since President Trump became president,” the mayor says. “It brought stature to Palm Beach, and I’m glad Mar-a-Lago was saved along with part of the history of Palm Beach, and now, it will be in perpetuity. I’m very pleased.”

t takes approximately 80 people working during the offseason to keep The Mar-a-Lago Club looking as exquisite as it did when Marjorie Merriweather Post called it home. After all, the grande dame is 98 years old. One of those individuals working quietly behind the scenes all year long to ensure the club’s beauty does not fade is Karl Spencer, restoration director at Mar-a-Lago. With a curriculum vitae as impressive as his gilding, Spencer started his career in London with his father as his mentor. In 1995, the artisan moved to New York City, specializing in high-end restorations: The Dakota, numerous brownstones on the Upper East and West sides of Manhattan, and The Riverside Church among them. Spencer began his position at Mara-Lago in 2014. One of Spencer’s latest restorations was the White & Gold Ballroom with stunning results. The wall at the back of the stage was replaced with charming French doors, highlighted by Mar-
a-Lago’s emerald grounds and the Intracoastal Waterway as a backdrop. Original parquet flooring — where Mrs. Post once held Friday night square dances during the season — was painstakingly restored to its grandeur. Most impressive, the ballroom and front-door swags were gilded in 24-karat gold leaf. “It was challenging,” Spencer notes. “It is a three-step process, and I worked in 3-inch increments across the entire ballroom.” The gilding — which will last for several decades — took approximately three months to complete. Spencer additionally gilded the details on the main house’s patio and front-door entrance. (During Spencer’s work on the restoration, he took two weeks off for a very special commission: President Donald J. Trump requested that Spencer gild the decorative elements and other details in the Oval Office and other White House spaces.) “The historic restoration project successfully returned the White & Gold Ballroom to its decorative splendor and intended glory,” Spencer says. “The ballroom now gleams and is a prominent landmark within Mar-a-Lago.” THE MAR-A-LAGO CLUB

His eponymous culinary series invites club members and their guests into one of the nation’s most storied culinary workspaces for an inimitable behind-the-line encounter where the theater of creation meets fine dining in real time. During this multicourse tasting journey, participants embark on a gastronomic experience that might begin with an amuse-bouche and build through refined appetizers, composed entrées, and a finale of exquisite desserts. Dishes do not appear on the regular club menu, ensuring that each evening remains truly sui generis. Portions are intentionally modest, allowing attendees to savor the full progression without feeling overwhelmed. The concept captures the intimacy and artistry of a Michelin-starred tasting yet remains unmistakably emblematic of The Mar-a-Lago Club. The evening begins at 7 p.m. with cocktails at the bar before the diners are escorted into the main kitchen, where chefs bend over their culinary masterpieces and the air hums with steam and the soft clatter of pans. Once seated at a table in full view of the brigade, diners watch each dish take shape and feel the warmth radiating from the chefs’ stations. Each course is personally introduced by its creator, who shares the inspiration and technique behind the dish. Those who wish may step behind the pass for a closer look — or even lend a hand — offering a rare opportunity to witness the pace, precision, and ingenuity of a professional kitchen. All dishes on the menu are created in advance, and changes or substitutions are not permitted. Those planning to attend future Chef’s Tables are welcome to share feedback that may help inspire forthcoming dinners. A sommelier is also part of the package, assisting with drink selections. Arriving with pairings expertly conceived in advance — perhaps a chilled flute of Champagne, a full-bodied Cabernet, or a delicate sake — she offers personalized guidance, drawing on her knowledge of both the menu and each diner’s palate to ensure every pour harmonizes perfectly with the meal. The evening unfolds at a leisurely pace befitting the occasion, often extending up to six hours. One of humanity’s oldest cooking methods — braising — dates back to when early humans learned that slowly preparing meat with moisture turned tougher cuts tender and flavorful. That ancient process lives on in this slow-braised lamb Boerean marinates for three days until it’s falling off the bone. Next, it’s pressed, glazed in its own braising sauce, and served with a dollop of zucchini purée blended with basil, mint, and spinach, plus a stew of eggplant, green and red peppers, garlic, onion, and sherry vinegar, finished with a fennel-radish slaw topped with peanut crumble.

hanks to summer schedules typically packed with tournaments, LPGA veteran Dani Holmqvist had attended only one wedding before planning her own to Charlie Schick. But for Holmqvist, comparisons weren’t necessary — her wedding was always going to be a unique celebration honoring her heritage as well as the couple’s closest loved ones. Much of Holmqvist’s childhood was spent in Sweden, and guests would enjoy tastes of that time, both literally and figuratively, in the form of romantic blue, lavender, and white hydrangeas native to the area; select pop anthems from Stockholm-founded ABBA that served as the tracks for first dances; and even a traditional marzipan-covered Swedish princess cake with raspberry filling. Holmqvist describes herself as a “relaxed bride” and welcomed the chance for others to participate. Donald Trump’s granddaughter Chloe served as the flower girl, confidently walking down the aisle with Holmqvist’s labradoodle, Acqua, as ring bearer. While bride, groom, and pup each had a signature martini offered at the cocktail hour, the wine was thoughtfully curated by Holmqvist’s friend, fellow LPGA player, and sommelier Cristie Kerr of Kerr Cellars. And thanks to a crowd-pleasing band, a violin-playing DJ, and a YMCA moment for President Trump, the party was buzzing with joy — the only thing that mattered to this laid-back bride.

Captivating Details Katelynn Stege and Matt Lentz
or Katelynn Stege, a truly successful wedding is one that is captivating — in terms of both the visuals and the vibe. She knew she wanted her wedding to Matt Lentz to deliver on both levels and convey love, happiness, and fun. Stege’s goal was for each space in the festivities to have its own moment. One of the key ways she accomplished this was through the floral and décor color palette. Stege selected jewel tones but had the hues intensify, creating an ombré effect, as the guests moved from the ceremony to cocktails to ultimately the reception, where they would be rich and moody. She also had memorable elements along the way, with her dad serving as the officiant and her 7-year-old nephew as “Ring Security” in Secret Service garb during the vows; caviar bumps and vodka shots during the cocktail hour; cocktail napkins with fun facts about the couple; and a groom’s cake inspired by the Philadelphia Eagles. Instead of a guest book, the couple opted to have attendees sign one of 25 wine bottles that they would open and enjoy each year leading up to their silver anniversary.

An Homage to Family and Friends Carly Ilvento and Michael King
arly Ilvento and Michael King both grew up in families that loved to entertain. That is why they wanted their reception to be the ultimate thank-you to all their friends and family who came to their wedding. As it was the only event on property, Ilvento hoped attendees would feel as if they were exclusive guests at a lush tropical boutique resort. Her decision to opt for vibrant colors rather than soft pastels helped further that vibe. A dumpling station and prosecco station served as nods to King and to Ilvento’s mother, respectively, but the biggest tribute was for the guest who wasn’t with them — the groom’s late father. Trevor’s Scotch and Cigar Bar was open throughout the evening, giving guests an opportunity to raise a glass or take a puff in his honor. This crowd wasn’t long for sitting, and the couple made sure the dance floor kept pumping thanks to an amazing band and 9-foot dancing robot covered with LED lights that kept energy up. In addition to memories, guests took home a boxed piece of the confetti wedding cake and their seating card — which was a Portuguese tile coaster that foreshadowed the couple’s honeymoon destination.

A Dreamy Tableau Alyssa Giordano and David Goodman
lyssa Giordano believes she and husband David Goodman are the perfect complements to each other’s personalities. While she categorizes herself as “a bit more reserved,” the fun-loving Goodman is always able to get her out of her shell. Their wedding was no exception. For the ceremony, Giordano leaned into the historic allure of the property by facing guests toward the iconic fountain rather than outward toward the horizon. The visual tableau was made complete thanks, in part, to Giordano in her dream gown (unbelievably, the first one she tried on) and the bridesmaids’ gold dresses, which played off the sunlight. Attendees then mingled poolside, with many sampling “The Henry,” Giordano’s favorite drink (tequila, soda, salted rim, and lime) named after the couple’s toy poodle. Goodman’s first teen job was as a DJ, and in a full-circle moment, the two chose for their wedding the very event producer who’d hired him. The couple wanted an uninterrupted flow once the celebration moved into the ballroom, so speeches were given early to allow continuous revelry for the remainder of the evening. The bride and groom wouldn’t eat much until later, when bites of everything were brought to their Mar-a-Lago room, but it was worth it to enjoy the party scene that kept everyone on the dance floor until the final song.

An Intimate Celebration Taylor Brandon and Benjamin Gillenwaters
ather than an aspirational destination, The Mar-aLago Club was more like a second home for bride Taylor Brandon. She celebrated her second through ninth birthdays on property and would often visit after school with her dad when she was a Palm Beach Day Academy student. Returning to the White & Gold Ballroom for her wedding reception seemed both magical and nostalgic. As conservative Christians, the couple wanted to keep the focus on the celebration of their marriage, rather than just throwing a party, and opted for an intimate daytime lunch following their wedding ceremony. Ivory and pink (Brandon’s favorite color) danced throughout the tables and décor, giving a romantic air to the surroundings. The 65 guests in attendance were moved by both a blessing given by their friend and the mother of Christian singer Anne Wilson and a speech delivered by Brandon’s father that honored the stories of happily married guests. Midway through their first dance to “Love Like This” by Lauren Daigle, all couples were asked to join the bride and groom on the dance floor. The intimate guest list of only the closest friends and family meant the two had time to interact with everyone so all could share in the excitement of the start of their new life together.

ith four kids, Canadian couple Angela Hamed and Louis Philippe Saucier knew their wedding would be a kid-friendly affair. In addition to serving as bridesmaids and groomsmen at the ceremony facing the intracoastal waterway, the kids took on a role as hype people during the reception — going up onstage with the hybrid musician and DJ entertainment to play instruments and shoot the smoke gun through the ballroom. The payment for services rendered came in the form of a kid-specific menu, readily available glow sticks, and an expansive ice cream sundae bar on the outdoor terrace. Stations of appetizers, like a tartare bar, at the cocktail hour rather than passed hors d’oeuvres meant grown-ups had their own culinary adventure, and the 75-person reception in the White & Gold Ballroom allowed for plenty of opportunities to socialize and show the kids some old-school dance moves. At midnight, once the party ended and kids had gone to bed, the couple and their closest friends hung out at the pool to end the evening. While it was indeed a bustling celebration (just as the couple envisioned), Saucier’s favorite memory was the tranquil moment when he first saw the bride walking down the aisle in her strapless gown and elegant Vera Wang veil. sabella Gallagher and Justin Tomasino’s wedding was an experiential cure to wanderlust as they transported their 250 wedding attendees to Italy. The couple, both from huge Italian families, agreed that The Mar-a-Lago Club was the only place grand enough to feel like Europe. They created a celebration befitting Italy’s rich historic elegance in, amazingly, just a few months. Guests arriving at the outdoor ceremony would each find a chic parasol at their seat gifted to them to shade the Palm Beach sun, and the social cocktail hour was akin to the Italian tradition of aperitivo with light bites and mingling. But these subtle homages to Italy were nothing in comparison to the mille-feuille cake — made with layers of crispy puff pastry and cream and topped with raspberries — that spanned an entire table. Per tradition, guests watched as the bride in her flower-adorned Vera Wang gown and groom sprinkled sugar on top, making for an unforgettable memory. Those with a sweet tooth could additionally rejoice thanks to an old-fashioned candy room that opened during the Venetian Hour near the end of the affair where they could fill personalized bags with sugary treats before their departure from their evening abroad.

Together, supporters raised a record-breaking $5 million to benefit Big Dog Ranch Rescue, the largest cage-free, no-kill dog rescue in the United States. Since its founding in 2008, the organization has saved more than 85,000 dogs, giving them a second chance at life and love. The elegant Mar-aLago ballroom provided the perfect setting for this joyful celebration, offering a dog-friendly atmosphere, convenient location, and capacity to host the rescue’s consistently sold-out events. Year after year, guests return for an unforgettable evening of compassion, community, and commitment to saving dogs in need.

On Dec. 12, 2024, the historic Mar-a-Lago Club was transformed into a dazzling winter wonderland, complete with elegant décor, twinkling lights, and festive cheer. Over 700 attendees gathered, including decorated veterans, national leaders, philanthropists, and wellness innovators — all united to support Grey Team’s mission to end veteran suicide. To start the evening, guests mingled poolside with curated beverages and gourmet hors d’oeuvres. Following the cocktail hour, a luxurious plated meal prepared by Mar-a-Lago’s renowned chefs elevated the experience with culinary excellence. Retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Allen West delivered a powerful keynote, artist Josh Leidolf (aka Transparent) donated a striking portrait of President Donald Trump for auction, and Florida’s premier band Private Stock captivated the audience. Over $1.4 million was raised thanks to generous supporters, directly funding Grey Team’s advanced wellness programs and providing lifesaving care to more than 100 veterans.

On March 1 and 2, 2025, Big Dog Ranch Rescue welcomed nearly 1,400 dog lovers to Wine, Women & Shoes — the most fabulous midday party of the Palm Beach season. Guests enjoyed an afternoon filled with live entertainment, fine wines, a delicious lunch, boutique shopping, and a runway fashion show featuring styles by Italian brand Chiara Boni La Petite Robe, New York-based designer Robert Graham, and Palm Beach favorite Anne Fontaine. The highlight of the day was the doggie fashion show, where beloved rescues took over the runway in the cutest way possible. Altogether, the event raised $4.3 million. The Palm Beach Police & Fire Foundation hosted its 19th annual Police & Fire Rescue Ball on Jan. 18, 2025, at The Mar-a-Lago Club. The black-tie gala, themed Sakura Garden, was a record-breaking, sold-out success, drawing 700 guests. The spectacular evening successfully raised an unprecedented $4.4 million, with all proceeds benefiting the Palm Beach Police and Fire Rescue departments. The gala transformed the venue into a cherry blossom paradise, featuring poolside cocktails, drummers, and dancing dragons. Highlights included honoring Steve and Andrea Wynn with the 2025 Palm Tree Award and recognizing Detective Stephen Buscemi and Lt. Walter Arcila as the Officer and Firefighter of the Year, respectively. The record-setting night celebrated the foundation’s mission and commitment to public safety.

Grey Team hosted its inaugural Red, White, and Vogue fashion show and luncheon on March 6, 2025. The event, held in the iconic Grand Ballroom of The Mar-a-Lago Club, was established to raise critical funds supporting Grey Team’s efforts to combat veteran suicide through holistic care. The elegant affair drew 350 attendees for a gourmet luncheon followed by a deeply moving fashion show. In a powerful display of patriotism and style, models were gracefully escorted down the runway by uniformed U.S. service members, honoring the strength and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes. This successful debut demonstrated that fashion can be a powerful force for change, leading to plans to expand the event into a larger evening gala on March 12, 2026, accommodating over 500 guests.

In March 2025, Furry Friends Humane proudly presented its signature event, the Wags to Riches Gala, at the world-renowned Mar-a-Lago Club. Each spring, this annual affair brings together supporters from near and far for an evening that seamlessly blends philanthropy with glamour. Over 500 guests gathered for cocktails by the pool, where synchronized swimmers delivered a breathtaking performance, before moving into the Grand Ballroom for a reception. The gala was a true spectacle — glittering fashion models showcased sparkling jewels and live-auction treasures, while an LED dance floor set the stage for dazzling performances. The live and silent auctions featured one-of-a-kind items including an Hermès bag, a custom-painted Hummer, and other exclusive offerings that helped raise millions for Furry Friends Humane’s mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need in the state of Florida and beyond.

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier delivered an inspiring keynote address during the program. The successful day concluded with a riveting live auction and “bid from the heart,” raising critical funds to support the organization’s mission.

The Palm Beach Ray of Hope Foundation hosted its annual gala, Dancing with the Palm Beach Stars, Palm Beach’s most glamorous and celebrated dance event, on April 5, 2025, in Mara-Lago’s iconic Grand Ballroom. With its sweeping elegance and radiant gold accents, the ballroom provided a spectacular evening of glamour, philanthropy, and community spirit. Over 500 guests enjoyed a spirited dance competition featuring local philanthropists paired with professional dancers, hosted by the ever-charming John Stamos and judged by dance professionals from Dancing with the Stars. The organization’s founders are excited to celebrate the third year at Mar-a-Lago building momentum and impact. Last season alone, Palm Beach Ray of Hope provided underprivileged nursing students attending the Academy for Nursing and Health Occupations with scholarships, uniforms, and essential resources by presenting a check for $350,000.

Palm Beach glittered a little brighter on Feb. 27, 2025, as The Hometown Foundation hosted an unforgettable evening of high-octane luxury cars and refined elegance at the much-anticipated second annual Cars & Cigars Under the Stars at The Mar-a-Lago Club. The historic estate was transformed into a playground of vintage horsepower and bespoke libations under the colorful February skies. The car show offered 500 guests an exceptional experience with an array of luxury, vintage, and super cars that seemed more at home on a racetrack than a red carpet. Under the strobe lights, adoptable puppies were on their best behavior while searching for their “furever” homes. The 2025 Cars & Cigars event raised $2 million, superseding last year’s funds raised. The Hometown Foundation was able to donate the funds to families of fallen police officers in Florida and Connecticut, animals in need, and a nonprofit that helps children and adults to receive prosthetics.
