THE 2019 WORLD LUXURY SPA AWARDS
Currently in its ninth edition, the World Luxury Spa Awards is an annual initiative that recognizes and rewards leaders in today’s fast-evolving spa industry. Winners are selected based on a rigorous global voting process, and with over 65 award categories, 400 listed spa profiles and 600 nominees from around the world, recognition in the lists is considered the highest pinnacle of achievement for a spa and wellness facility.
“Operating in a landscape where spa and wellness offerings are plentiful and consumers have no lack of choice, winning these awards are true testament to the effort and creativity we’ve put into developing unique spa experiences for guests and customers at our hotels. As renowned as the World Luxury Spa Awards are, to receive seven nods across our hotels in
South East Asia is truly an honour. We are thrilled and incredibly humbled to be awarded with these accolades,” said Paul Hutton, vice president, operations, South East Asia.
“These achievements also underscore the great work of our Team Members and I am confident that with their continued commitment and dedication, we will be able to strengthen our spa and wellness offerings across all our markets,” added Hutton.
The award presentation ceremony and gala dinner was held on July 6th in The State Hermitage Museum Official Hotel in St. Petersburg, Russia, and was attended by over 200 guests from around the world, representing more than 90 countries and 450 spas. The 2020 World Luxury Spa Awards will take place in Bali next July, and the event will be hosted by Conrad Bali.
