Certified Nursing Assistant Program (CNA) (130 hrs) Our program is a NYS Dept of Health approved training program for individuals seeking employment as nursing assistants in the medical field. Pharmacy Technician Certificate Program (80 hrs) This comprehensive 80 hour program will prepare students to work as a pharmacy technician in a Hospital, retail or other pharmacy setting and to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board’s PTCB exam. Course content includes: pharmacy medical terminology, the history of pharmacy, the pharmacy practice in multiple environments, pharmacy calculations and measurements, reading and interpreting prescriptions and defining drugs by generic and brand names. Lack of attendance does not constitute withdrawal and eligibility for a refund. 100% refund is issued only if a class is cancelled by the college. Registration fees are non refundable unless class is canceled by the College. A 50% refund will be issued if submitted before the second day of class.

Discount Policy: Immediate family members (siblings and parents only) of current Hostos and BMCC students are eligible for a 10% discount must enroll with student present to validate ID. CUNY faculty and staff are eligible for a 15% discount.
