WHY ARE ADVENTURE HELMETS DIFFERENT TO OFF-ROAD HELMETS

• Adventure helmets come with a shield for traveling at higher speeds on the road. However, it is important the eye port is also compatible with off-road goggles so that the rider can easily switch between the two when riding offroad for better ventilation at lower speeds and clearer vision.

• Speaker pocket integration

WHY IS ADVENTURE GEAR DIFFERENT TO OFF-ROAD

Leatt Adventure gear is sold with integrated CE armor. This means it is categorized as PPE (personal protective equipment) which makes it mandatory to follow the EEU directive 425 and is certified to the norm EN17092.

WHICH CE RATING AND WHY

• AAA level is traditionally used for leather suits, this tends to create discomfort and bulk for the day-to-day rider

• The Leatt “Tour” product range follows the AA level, which is the most suitable to ensure, protection, quality and comfort.

• For the 2025 Rally range, Leatt has chosen the lighter A level protection to suit the needs of that rider.

• B and C are for different motorcycle use.
