STATEMENT OF NEED

This activity is intended to guide CREDIT DESIGNATION Hospital for Special Surgery designates orthopaedic surgeons through the process of the selfthis live activity for a maximum of 7.5 AMA PRA Category 1 assessment component of ABOS Maintenance of Certification Credits™.

Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate (MOC). The program uses the American Academy of with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Orthopaedic Surgeons’s Orthopaedic Knowledge Update (OKU) 10 test to identify areas in need of further learning; In addition, participants who elect to take the OKU 10 test provides a self-study curriculum to bridge these gaps; will receive up to 20 SAE credits. ➼ E valuate the effectiveness of self-study in a particular subject area.
