Diagnosis

Paralabral cyst extending posteriorly and impinging the sciatic nerve

Discussion

Paralabral cysts are strongly associated with tears of the fibrocartilagenous acetabular labrum They generally extend anteriorly and less commonly posteriorly or laterally They commonly recur unless the underlying labral tear is corrected Following aspiration of the collection, the patient reported complete relief of her sciatic nerve symptoms
