Horwich ROX 2026 is brought to you by Horwich and Blackrod Community Events
CIC — a not-for-profit group bringing FREE community events to Horwich and Blackrod. Since launching in 2025, we’ve been working hard to create exciting events that bring people together, celebrate local pride, and make our towns buzz with life all year round. This HUGE FREE live music festival returns to Horwich for its second year!

The Centre is a bustling hive of activity within the community used by a full range of different and diverse classes.

There’s music sessions for toddlers and babies throughout the week. There is a Seniors Lunch Club including bingo and activities for older people on a Tuesday. With other groups such as St John Ambulance Cadets, the Stroke Association, line dancing, KD’s Over 50s Men’s Club, Over 50’s Club, there’s definitely something for everybody of all ages.
There are classes in various Languages, Art, Upholstery, Sewing, Heritage talks, with fitness groups offering everything from Boxing, Yoga, Pilates, Zumba and Aikido.

Citizens’ Advice Bolton offers help and advice during its Drop-in sessions every first Friday of the month from 9am – 12pm. No appointment required. There are activities for children taking place during the school holidays which are funded by Horwich Town Council.
