Welcome!
The Eayrs family would like to welcome you to our 2024 Sale. This will be our second sale without Dad, but we are working to maintain his legacy of producing affordable cattle with the commercial cattleman in mind.
These bulls are the Eastern Montana kind. They are out of cows that must earn their living. Every cow, including the two-yearolds, are expected to calve on their own on the prairie. We do not have a calving barn and do not check at night. They summer in big pastures and must travel to get water. Each cow is expected to breed back and if not, she is culled.
This was the third year of feeding Top Gun by Purina and long stem crested wheat grass hay to the bulls. They are developed slowly to ensure structural integrity. They are fed at Logan’s place, and we are offering $200 off your total bill if you visit the ranch before the sale and purchase a bull at the sale.
20 of the bulls in the offering are out of cows that are older than 9. Longevity runs deep in these bulls and has been a focus for Eayrs Angus from the beginning and will continue to be moving forward. The sires of these bulls are a mix of new blood purchased from reputable programs like Big Dry Angus, Heiken Angus, and Coleman Angus and old tried and true bulls that we have raised ourselves. These calves are all from natural service sires. We believe natural service really helps show us which sires stand up in a real world commercial breeding environment. DNA testing is used to confirm parentage.
Eight of these bulls are composite. They go back to some very good SimAngus bulls that Dad purchased from Don Nelson. These bulls are a maximum 5/16 Simmental.
We are also proud to be offering 30 head of top-quality commercial heifers. These heifers are half sisters to the bulls in the sale, and they have been developed at the Cabin Creek Ranch and are cycling and ready to breed.

2nd High Selling Bull at December 2023 Peak Dot Sale
We saw a lot of great animals at Peak Dot that were Musgrave Colossal/Ellingson Roughrider crosses. We knew we had to have one and Boost was the one for us. As soon as we saw his video we knew we needed him to add thickness, foot quality, and more depth to our herd while maintaining the calving ease we are known for. He was even more impressive when we saw him at the sale in person. This bull is one of the easiest fleshing animals out there, but he moves like a cat. This bull has a huge future at Eayrs Ranch. We are extremely excited to turn him out on cows. His progeny will be sale features in our 2026 Sale.

We have been intrigued by LD Capitalist 316 after seeing progeny in many catalogs and the bull himself at World West. Paul went on the Montana Angus Tour in September and was blown away by Connealy King Air himself at Vermilion Ranch. We knew we had to have a son of him to use on our heifers. K784 was our pick of the November 2023 Vermilion Sale. He is a smooth built bull with a good Aberdeen Angus head. He sports a 18 CED and a -3.0 BW EPD along with a 70lb actual birthweight. Although he is a calving ease bull he has ample thickness and depth, and more chest floor than most heifer bulls. We are very excited to turn him out on heifers this year and look for progeny for sale in 2026.
