Horizon provides undergraduate students at the University of Iowa an opportunity to publish and create a professional literary magazine in real-time. Horizon’s mission is to explore and express happiness in the world with curated pieces centered on the optimistic side of literature. The magazine takes the form of a saddle-stitched, print publication, released once a semester. This is Horizon's first Issue, published in Fall 2020.
