The Horicon Phoenix Program’s mission is to be a comprehensive economic and community revitalization program in the city of Horicon. Our group supports local businesses, schools, civic organizations and environment with a special emphasis on respect, sustainability, friendship, and the benefits of enjoying life locally.

Located on the east side of Kiwanis Park along the Rock River

We offer raised beds, as well as larger plots for avid gardeners. There are two 500 gallon rainwater tanks on site for watering. All plots are tilled prior to planting and city compost is provided.

Progressive bluegrass covering a wide spectrum of genres, dynamics, and feeling. The band has been performing, touring, and making records since early 2014 playing an average of 150+ shows per year throughout the Midwest region and beyond.

Formed in 2015 in the dead center of the thriving Midwest roots music scene in Stevens Point, WI. Dig Deep has earned a reputation for their well-honed and hard-edged sound that goes far beyond bluegrass, as well as their blistering and boisterous live performances that give audiences much more than a string band show.

Wise Jennings is a husband and wife duo from southern Wisconsin. As original artists they have made a name for themselves delivering high energy shows with a unique song writing and performance style. They sound like a Punk, Psycho-billy, Alt-Americana, Outlaw Country burrito if there was such a thing and you could listen to it.

Joseph Huber hails from the state of Wisconsin. It has been said, "You don’t just like Joseph Huber’ s music. You feel it’ s something that the rest of the world needs to hear, and how criminal it is that it isn’t spreading far and wide." As the singer, songwriter, performer, recorder and producer of all of his own material, Huber has his hands full, but never seems to miss a beat.

Kevin John Troestler is a Wisconsin raised Blues/Country Artist. Growing up in Sauk City, Wisconsin, Kevin found his love for music at a young age. Big influences like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Allman Brothers Band, and other great blues artists helped push him in the right direction

Lemon Sky is a Cincinnati based psych-rock/prog-pop quintet that creates a heavy yet highly-melodic brand of psychedelic garage rock that combines the classic rock pomp and stomp of Led Zeppelin with the paisley pop melodies and modern musicality of Queens of the Stone Age. After their performance in Horicon, be sure to check them out at Mile of Music festival in Appleton, WI, August 3-6, 2023.

The Driftless Plowboys are a new band playing vintage music that combines hillbilly pre-country with Hawaiian steel guitar. This unique quartet also incorporates the Gypsy Jazz of Django Reinhardt and the Western Swing of Bob Wills, as well as more modern country tunes from the '40s and '50s. It's an ear-catching amalgamation of heart, humor and rootsy flavor.

Whiskey Flats is a country rock band based in Beaver Dam, WI. The band is comprised of four experienced musicians/vocalists, who perform material from the 1970s through the present day. The band specializes in country and classic country-rock songs with a driving and rocking style, singing multi-part harmony vocals. At a typical Whiskey Flats show you can expect to hear everything from The Eagles, Poco and CSNY to Alabama, Brooks & Dunn and Little Texas!
