BETTER TOGETHER A network update
There’s a word I’ve heard Josh Hannah say a lot lately: change. It started before the IPHC General Conference. In conversations with our team, Josh kept coming back to this sense that God was preparing us for something new—not change simply for the sake of doing things differently, but the kind of change that comes when God is preparing you for what’s next. At the time, I don’t think any of us knew exactly what that would look like. I’m not sure we do yet. But from where I sit, I’ve had the opportunity to watch some pretty incredible things unfold. If you know Josh, you know he’s never been one to draw attention to himself or the opportunities God has placed in front of us. But some moments are worth sharing. As partners and supporters of Hope Center Ministries, many of you have had a front-row seat to what God has been doing. Most recently, that included the opportunity to welcome U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to our Goldsboro, North Carolina, campus. It was another reminder of the doors God continues to open and an incredible opportunity to share the impact of faith-based recovery and, most importantly, point people toward Jesus. And that’s just one of the places we’re seeing God move. Across the Compassion Network, churches are growing. More people are walking through the doors, and we’re seeing encouraging momentum across the country. SHOUT OUT: Since joining Compassion Network, Maywood has doubled its attendance, reaching a record 213 people on August 23. And they aren’t the only ones with increase! God is opening doors we didn’t open ourselves. He’s creating opportunities we couldn’t manufacture. And with every new opportunity comes the responsibility to ask: “God, what are You doing, and how do You want us to respond?” We may not know everything that’s ahead. We may only know the next step. But when I look across Hope Center Ministries and the Compassion Network, I believe one thing is clear: Change is at the door. There are incredible opportunities ahead for our churches, Hope Center Ministries, and the Kingdom of God. Let’s stay close to Jesus, keep our hands open, and be ready to move when He says move.

UPDATE ON PASTOR JUSTIN We wanted to share a quick update on Pastor Justin Blankenship and invite you to continue standing with him and his family in prayer. After receiving a possible cancer diagnosis, Justin recently underwent surgery, and we are grateful to share that the procedure went well. He has met with a highly respected specialist and is now awaiting the pathology report, which should be available next week. Justin and his family remain full of faith and have experienced an incredible peace through it all. Please continue praying for complete healing and believing with us for a good report from the pathology results. We are grateful for a network that stands together in moments like these.
