HCA REGISTRATION POLICIES

2022 REFUND POLICY

Due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 crisis has placed on our programming schedule, please note the following:

If the HCA cancels your class session (due to recommendations by the CDC and local health authorities): a. Families can elect to transfer the session to an available online program. b. Families can take a credit for the tuition to be applied to an HCA program for up to two years. c. Families can choose to donate all or a portion of their program fees to the HCA. The HCA is a 501c (3) organization. Donations are a vital part of supporting our operations and programs. d. Families may request a full refund. e. Any combination of the above options.

If a family wishes to cancel the class session: a. Refunds of program fees will be offered in full if requested two weeks prior to their start date. Please make the request in writing by emailing info@hopartscenter.org. Families are asked to consider donating a portion of their fees to the HCA to help with the ongoing activities and operational support. b. If a cancellation is made less than two (2) weeks prior to the start of the session, the tuition fee is non-refundable except in the case of illness.

WAIVERS

I understand there is a certain amount of reasonable risk of minor injury associated with this program and do not hold the Hopkinton Center of the Arts, Enter Stage Left Theater, or the Town of Hopkinton responsible for any such injuries. I give permission for my or my child’s image in videotapes, photographs and/or motion picture films in which she/he appear, and audio recordings made of him/ her may be used by the Hopkinton Center for the Arts and Enter Stage Left Theater for publicity purposes.

HCA FINANCIAL AID

The Hopkinton Center for the Arts believes the arts are for everyone and thanks to the generosity of the Sandra Delbridge Scholarship Fund and individual donations to our scholarship fund we are able to assist children, teens, and adults who might not otherwise be able to afford classes. Need-based scholarships are available for HCA classes to residents of Hopkinton and surrounding Metrowest communities. Assistance is awarded on the basis of demonstrated need, motivation, and potential benefit to the student. Please visit our website www.HopArtsCenter.org and fill out our online scholarship form.
