"The true generosity consists of giving the best of oneself without expecting anything in return".
Albert Einstein
HOOP PERU was born in 2012, sparked by a group of volunteers from an English school in Flora Tristán, Cerro Colorado. These volunteers saw firsthand the struggles in the community, especially with access to basic services. They firmly believed that education was the key to making a positive change, laying the groundwork for what HOOP is today.
Since then, HOOP has grown into a local and international team, with members hailing from countries like Austria, France, Germany, Taiwan, England, and the United States. They're all dedicated to making a difference every day and improving the lives of the community where it all started
