Adding the fuel for Kindle Fire HDX users. At hoopla digital, we’re always on the go, seeking ways to help champion the needs of every hoopla user. In harmony with this edict, we just recently rolled out an app for the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX tablets. Currently, the hoopla mobile app is available on both Kindle Fire HDX 7” and 8.9” models. As you can probably imagine, support for this group of tablets has been one of our most requested enhancements. From our perspective, we’re extremely excited to be able to offer yet another item to our ever-expanding list of supported devices.

To download the Kindle Fire HDX app, hoopla users will have to open the browser on their Kindle Fire device and type slideme.org in the URL, select go to install SlideMe, and sign up for an account. Detailed downloading instructions, including step-by-step installation guides, can be found on our website at hoopladigital.com/support. Just an FYI: You can install hoopla without installing SlideMe but you will not be prompted when hoopla has an app update. Simply open slideme.org in your browser, search for hoopla, and download the app.

hoopla crew enhances FAQs. The hoopla Support Team is happy to announce it has completed an update and enhancement to our library admin site FAQs (library-admin.hoopladigital.com/help). Listening to all the feedback from our hoopla partners, we’ve updated the FAQs accordingly. We’ve paid special attention to two areas: Library Messages and Patron Messages. These sections break down what the most frequently occurring library and patron error messages mean, as well as the scenarios in which they occur. In addition, we’ve updated

any out-of-date or inaccurate information that might have changed or needed clarifying after recent developments. If you have any suggestions for information you would like to see on the FAQ page, please pass along your suggestions to your hoopla Customer Coordinator or Midwest Tape Account Executive. We’re always looking for ways to improve the hoopla platform based on your feedback.
