library update hoopla Team Focuses on Audiobook Fixes Audiobooks have been a top focus of improvement with our developers and testing team here at hoopla. We wanted to update you on the progress, along with filling you in on some of the testing our developers have conducted. With our latest apps (iOS 2.10.8/Android 2.11.2) we have released a number of improvements. For our Samsung Galaxy S4 users with cellular connection through Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile, we have recently released an app update that re-enables audiobooks. We know this update has been long-awaited, and we appreciate the patience of these users. For this app update, we also require that S4 users have the most up-to-date software installed on their device. This software can be updated through the device’s settings menu, or by updating through “Kies,” Samsung’s software for managing Galaxy devices. We are hopeful that this software update will be released to Sprint S4 users in the near future.

Our developers test on almost 40 unique devices, focusing on the devices that are most popular with our user base. As newer devices are released and older devices are phased out, our developers are staying on the cutting edge with the latest devices and tailoring our app to the latest hardware being released. hoopla developers are working through our latest test apps, and another app release for both iOS and Android should be released by the end of November. As we continue to update our apps, we look back at some app reviews and follow up with some feedback we have received, and then notify users when a feature or functionality they were looking for was added. Continuing the growth of hoopla is not limited to just our content offerings; our mobile apps will continue to grow and evolve as well in the coming month.
