Introduction F
rom buildings to portraits I have a wide variety of subjects to work on, as an architectural student I started with architectural forms, so faces, bodies and personalities are new to me. Therefore I am drawing and painting more of them. I use graphite pencils combined with charcoal, colored pencils and acrylics. Further, I use water color for color studies. Many of my drawings demonstrate the contrast between characters, and species (animals resembling human emotions) in contrast with a human character. I draw characters that would never meet in real life, but there is meaning in their imaginary union. like an imaginary date between a young Marilyn Monroe and an old Bertrand Russell, beauty, and joy of youth faces knowledge and maturity. Or an obsessive and innocent tiger next to a wild beauty. In each painting there is a dialogue between two contrasting characters. like the Koi ďŹ sh and his mistress, which is of an admiring nature.
