FIST COALITION MISSION

What city does Fist Coalition represent? FC: We all three represent the South East side of Grand Rapids, Michigan. What is your approach that makes potential consumer want to give your music a chance? FC: People see our work ethic, presentation and quality of the music we release and it makes people want to see and hear what we have to offer. Our music touches peoples souls and we know its a result of the time that we put into our music. What are some of the most recent features? FC: We've gotten features with Ras Kass, Rah Digga, Bizzare of D12 and Slaughter House Member 2Mex most recently. Anything new popping off for Fist Coalition? FC: Of course we have The Fist Coalition Music Movie Documentary, Mic. Hunte. D Feat. Bizarre of D12, “The Vigilante” video, Fist Coalition “Salute Greatness” video and the visual Feat. 2Mex titled “Triple Dose” along with Celdom Seen T.V. Which you’ll be able to check out soon.

If you had to describe which lane and where you feel the most comfortable what would that lane be? FC: I would say we are appreciated and fall in the Main Stream HipHop / R&B Underground HipHop, and Hardcore HipHop avenues. SXSW and A3C are two of the biggest hip hop networking events in the country; what have you learned by attending these conferences that you have used to grow your brand? FC: The biggest thing that we have learned is how to put a real game plan together and carry ourselves like professionals; join forces with like minded people so we share resources to make a strong team to get the best out of these events. You have to have cds, fliers, t-shirts, hats, everything that is going to make you stand out. Not to mention that you never know who's watching that may interested in you. And we always stay ready and prepared, because you’ll never know who you will run into that is important and could take your career to the next level.

THE MOVEMENT C-Success Ent Hunter.D Vision Big Shaady Beats

What is the ultimate goal for the brand? FC: We want to have notoriety throughout the world and for our music and music videos to be playing everywhere. As well; we want to inspire others and change their lives through our music. We plan to keep climbing the ladder of success to reach the highest platforms our music can stand on. Leaving a lasting legacy for our offspring’s can use to have a better life. Big Shaady is an important part of the Fist Coalition formula; Tell us how did everybody link up? And What are the key elements of his tracks that help the overall sound of Fist Coalition? Big Shaady: The way that I came into the group was through Mic. Hunter. D. We linked back up on social media after he heard a few beats I put out. Once I moved back to Grand Rapids from Phoenix AZ, he brought me to Celdom Seen’s studio and we all started to jell and ever since that moment we all have been rocking with each other ever since then. As far as key elements...For me it’s the hard hitting beats that I create. If the sh!t ain’t knockin’ or making you bob ya head, then it ain’t a Big Shaady beat.

Where does the inspiration come from? FC: Our inspiration comes from the love of the music the love of sounds and being able put sounds together to make a masterpiece. Making the crowd hype off the music we're doing. I like the way our music makes people feel and the react they get while listening to our sound. Living out our dreams and making a better life for our selfs and family. What separates Fist Coalition from every movement in the game right now? FC: Our music is a blend of what you want or need to hear. We're a well diverse group that holds many hats and we can adapt to any style of hip hop/rap style of music. We take what we do very serious and our goal is to help our peoples through our music success. We love the people and we love the culture. Through our music we can make people better and in return it will make us better.

3D NA’TEE

The whole rap game is in an uproar about the latest rap beef that begin to sizzle in the summer of 2016 and ended up as a hot and ready on the plates of hip hop consumers looking for a taste of something new at the top of the year; It’s All Hood tho... it’s only something that would take our attention away from the everyday BS going on in the world of Politics and Reality TV. As I sit back watching rappers come out of retirement for an opportunity to gasp in a few minutes of shine all I could do is shake my head. The hype was lived up for a few days: but the topic of conversation didn’t swing anywhere near 3D Na’Tee; Deep down inWhat’s your Hood Story? 3D: I’m from New Orleans and grew up in the 3rd ward / Uptown New Orleans. That’s basically where I got my name from. I put that in front of my name so people who come where I come from can feel something every time my name is shouted out or they see me in magazines. I come from pretty much nothing; my parents were Drug dealers turned drug addicts; my daddy committed suicide when I was younger. The things I went through and the things I saw; I put into my music because it wasn’t ok for young black kids to talk about some of the things I grew up and seen. I started to do music as a way to vent and express myself without seeming weak because I wasn’t talking to anybody about it so I put it into my music. The things that stuck with me the most and remained a constant in my life is my music from the beginning to now. That’s why I go so hard and am so passionate. I owe a lot to music I really feel like hip hop saved my life.

side I wanted one of these females to speak her name so she can rip their mf head off; I know it’s not right and I also know I’m being selfish but it’s time for the world to recognize and respect the real. I am a witness, I may have been a few minutes late to the party, but it’s hard to not champion for an artist who is a hustler who remains consistent with her visuals and and strategic moves. With a new project title “Songs That Got Left Off Of The Tape” and several stand out performances at the BET Hip Hop Cypher and Sway in the Morning. I am excited for the future of 3D Na’Tee; Check out the interview, log on to her site and press play. I promise you will not be dissapointed.

Do you feel that you have advanced lyrically through time? 3D: Lyrically I do feel like I have grown a lot. I’m technical and like to play with my flow and experiment with different ways I can make the flow fit into the track and let it breathe. That’s the fun part in writing music. Most importantly the things I have seen have changed a lot. The dynamic of my career from where I came from to where I am at now. Beyond the lyricism I have been able to see some incredible stuff from the strength of my music. Please speak on some accomplishments that will lead you to a better 2017? 3D: 2016 was great for me as I dropped “The Regime” and it debuted at #15 on the charts as an independent; being the only female was a huge accomplishment. I also got to meet my idol Lauren Hill this past year. I did the BET Cypher, I have been moving around all over the country and followed that up with Sway in the Morning and a bunch of radio runs. Some of the moves I’ve made have allowed me to become an ambassador with this liquor company and after

F O L L O W

speaking with the owner we spoke about it and I eventually got some stock and currently I’m co-owner of a brand; a liquor company and we got it in Walmart and few other high end restaurants in the southern region. I have just been moving and doing some big things leading up to this year. Tell us a little bit about Sway and how these new opportunities that have come your way? 3D: Sway and the whole crew have been real big champions of me and my music its dope to be able to go on his show. He sat me next to Kendrick Lamar and let me spit !!! They really didn’t have to believe in me. He really didn’t have to do that and use that platform. They truly use it for putting talented artist that they believe in. They slide them in those spots and let them get heard and be seen. Same as for the Nerve DJs - Johnny O and Big Heff and putting me in front of all those DJ’s, that was a great moment for me. I hear people say hip hop is dead but that is not true as long as people like you, Sway, the Dj’s and the true hip hop heads that are preserving the culture so it’s going to last forever.

Tell us about the process. How do your prepare when you get in these positions to perform and represent? 3D: I can’t event lie to you. Every moment I look at is like the biggest moment in my life. I am able to zone in. I do understand how big my voice can be for the ones where I come from. I can’t f#ck up. My perspective isn’t just holding down for females or southern rappers. No !!! I’m holding it down for the real ones. I’m holding it down for the intelligent ones who are not squares but they’re smart; they know how to decipher the sh!t from the sugar. I know I’m holding it down for the ones who need to hear what I’m saying. What can we expect from 3D Na’Tee ? 3D: I will be releasing some more videos, Check out the visual for Maria; it’s like a short movie. I’ve been shooting and directing my own videos for some time now. I’m excited about the tour and the next project “Songs That Didn’t Make The Tape” is available now for pre-order on www.3DNatee.com... I’m really just looking to put out great music and visuals consistently. Any last words to the HOOD? 3D: Make sure you believe in yourself; don’t let nobody tell you can’t do it because you can. It may sound cliche’ but that’s some sh!t I live by. Think like a boss work as hard as the employees yet remain as humble as the interns.
